  So much potential - Great View but Cleanliness & Service not taken seriously

  The view from this venue is fantastic and the grounds have some area to roam with some picturesque angles that overlooks the valley. However, the experience is marred by service which is so-so. Cleanliness was not taken too seriously. Reported some lizard droppings and dirty bathroom to front service desk, but the cleanup just sprayed strong cologne smell and wiped the surfaces. The lizard droppings and dirt on bathroom walls was not cleaned up (Pictures attached).These are easily removed within few minutes using household cleaners like Jif or bleach like Clorox but unfortunately was not done despite the cleanup request. Makan area was abit lax in service - lights were off despite it being dinner time around 7pm. It seems that Cheringin staff hospitality are more catered to serve only Conference and large groups. Service for small family or couples are not on par with expectation. After all, the food was considered expensive for the area but priced liked 4-5 star, and the taste was just so-so. Service here should improve. Wifi only available at lobby and not in the rooms. Even Internet data from mobile is not consistent at this location so streaming videos is likely out of the idea. You can check OpenSignal app for coverage. There were some motorcycle with loud exhaust driving up the drive at night - otherwise it would have been a quiet night. Probably consider it 3 stars service at max.

  Great Location

  Had a room facing the pool. But didn't have time to use it. Being on a hill top have great view of the valley and the mountains. A public library is just across the road. Sundry shops about 500m away. Not much noise from traffic. Good if to enjoy city life. Enjoyed the food served. You can also walk down to foodstalls for tea or drive a few km to eat at other places. A river behind the library is good for a picnic. Need to get used to sensor type lights. No problems communicating with the staff. Will try to come again.

  Breakfast was bad. Paid 250 per night for a normal room. B/fast was only nasi lemak & mihun goreng with coffee or tea. Its a buffet, but no mood to eat due to the limited food provided. The rest was okay.

  Good for Team Building

  A good places for team building, the view is nice in the morning which is at the top of the hill..we had so much fun with a good trainer from Radiant..we didnt waste much time there occupied by activities such as river trek and explorace..recommended for the one who looking for nice hotels and activities for team building

  Wonderful place for weekend!

  Great facilities. Especially for families. While parents enjoying their time with nature, the kids can play with the FUNFAIR!. Only RM25 for more than 10 games and its UNLIMITED guys! You should go!. This Hotel is the highest spot in Janda Baik, so the morning view was superb!
