  Resort with spa and great pool

  We visited the hotel in Dec 2017 with 3 families. The weather was so cold outside in Sapporo, the hotel provided very big spa area and also with a very big swimming pool, the water was warm enough for children to play with for long time. It was really great fun for families. The location was not very convenient, it needed to drive for around 30mins to the city centre. But overall, it was a very good experience for staying there for a holiday.

  As our party arrived after dinner and departed after breakfast, there was not ample time to explore and enjoy all the amenities, but the resort boasts a good variety of activities for the entire family. This all-in-one Resort is huge, offering magnificent scenic views throughout the day into the night. With multiple shops, Western and Eastern restuarants, spa/sauna facilities and entertainment services, the resort compound is also open for day visitors, who may purchase combo SPA/waterpark/entertainment tickets. THE GLASS ATRIUM Just like a Snow globe, the transparent window with towering palm trees, glass elevators and a ceiling about 10 storeys high downsizes the miniscule and miniature human figurines in contrast to the breathtaking landscape, reflecting snow-white views, which shine and refract sunlight. ROOMS Clean, comfortable beds with sofa, beautiful views and spacious bathtub and bathroom with TV was awesome! Two-piece pajamas for guests provided with slippers. Smoking not permittedd ONSEN Unlike other onsen hotels, walking in public hotel areas in a kimono here is not permitted. The check-in procedure is also different as to cater for day and night guests. At the SPA/Onsen centre, first place slippers in lockers and give key to reception with SPA Vouchers before obtaining second key for onsen changing room locker. This area is carpeted, so walking barefoot is comfy. Segregated onsen communal baths are available for both sexes, as is the customary changeover at opening hours in the morning to switch location and scenery for users. Both outdoor (with 2 porcelain tubs) and indoor onsen was a relaxing, soothing and enjoyable experience! FOOD Good variety and selection breakfast buffet Pastry from the Chateraise Gateaux company was a welcome surprise and gift for the kids! One cant go wrong when the place is run by a food company! FACILITY/AMENITIES Summer water and winter snow adventures and activities available. The watertube slides are another impressive superstructure of the resort. Apparently there is also a Golf course, somewhere under the blanket of snow. SERVICE Japanese Etiquette and culture dictate strict conformity with time, so punctuality is appreciated, as is respect with regards to opening and closing times. In many places, services will cease operations about 30 minutes prior to closing. This allows staff to prepare and clean, whilst managing the activity. If guests are unable to comply, this may present issues with the staff, who are just trying to do their jobs properly, efficiently, and effectively. This comment is in response to prior hotel comments on unsatisfactory service with most onus on the guest presenting late for breakfast. Waiters dressed like guests in heels and suits hover around and escape notice by their formal and smart attire. Although quite a distance from the city (as most fairyland wonderlands are), the night views on offer are awesome and this family-friendly resort offers a great family vacation

  Value for money, great breakfast

  Great breakfast and huge buffet restaurant! Love the Japanese fish and rice. There is a Japanese restaurant in the basement, food was okay, staff are very nice and friendly, I went to the indoor hot spring, it was clean and tidy but with a lot of groups, so it was quite crowded. The small hotel boutique was my mum's favourite, she got a few nice selection with a good deal. The hotel is located about 35 mins away from the Sapporo station, the free shuttle bus is very convenient and the driver is always very helpful and friendly! Will definitely return to this hotel when we are visiting Sapporo again.

  It's a Kingdom

  Extremely huge property, it was heavy snowing when I went there. I could only see a huge plot of land that belonged to them. The hotel was huge, 1 night stay and the room was big & comfortable enough for 4 adults. The dinner buffet was not so satisfying, so we went out to center Sapporo for crab buffet instead. Wish to stay again when it's not snowing so much!

  The place was so nice and clean.,snowing outside.,the very nice indoor pool,sauna and massage.pool slide for kids and adults,bubbles pool for kids!a bit food area and kids area.their cakes is delicious they have also takeout cakes!
