  Perfect wedding location.

  Attended a wedding early July and couldn't have been more satisfied. The staff were friendly and very accommodating (even gave us a lift to the local B&B when we checked out). They provided everything we could have needed. Although the Chateau rooms were elegant, I stayed in the little "Gite" out the back and was very comfortable. It allowed us a place to get the groom ready out of site from everyone else while still retaining the charm of a chateau. The grounds were extremely beautiful and well kept and the heated pool was just heaven. I would highly recommend this place for functions as they know their stuff. The only down side is transport, very hard to get to if you don't have a car. But great for adults and kids alike. The best way to really experience the French countryside. What a great weekend.

  Site of an amazing, intimate wedding week

  My husband and I rented out the chateau for 7 days to accomodate our close family and friends during our wedding week. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. The Chateau itself, the grounds, the friendliness of the owner...everything was perfection! The restaurant was closed during the week so we supplied our own food aside from the catered wedding festivities, but this was really no trouble as everyone rented cars (which I would say is a must). We were able to relax by the pool, explore the grounds, and experience local cuisine. It also made for an absolutely stunning wedding backdrop. The owners went out of their way to help us make last minute dinner reservations (for almost 30 people) at a local restaurant one evening, and were always accessible and willing to help. The wifi did not always work, but I believe this to be more related to the remote location than anything else (and the owner was working to fix this). Overall, I cannot recommend Chateau Mas de Montet enough. We can't wait to go back!

  Best wedding venue EVER!

  All I can say is wow! This place is from a fairytale!! It is the perfect place to get married! My sister got married here in June and it was out of this world. The chateau is simply stunning. All the bedrooms are beautiful and the grounds are amazing! If you are looking at a wedding in France this is THE place!

  Amazing Venue

  We have just recently had my daughters wedding here and I cannot talk highly enough of the Chalet. The 3 days ran very smoothly and the owners and caretakers could not have been more helpful. The venue itself is very clean and well looked after and the food is amazing. We had wonderful weather and the pool was an oasis for us.

  Intimacy and elegance all in one

  A group of friends came together for a trip throughout the Perigord region of France. We were able to stay in this magnificent chateau by sharing the cost... 10 bedrooms ensuite. We had breakfast included, prepared and set for us, with cleanup, by this attentive and accommodating man, Thierry.. The Chateau, owned by Daneels Lise and her family, had the intimate feel of home while also being a grand edifice. Lese, her husband and staff, were available for all our questions and needs, yet never intrusive. They gave us advice, went kayaking with us,gave us names to contact for in chateau special meals, and a man who guided us on most of our days out. He was so special that we invited him for dinner at the chateau on our last evening, and he regaled us with all sorts of local stories. This vacation was, indeed, spendid. When we left, I believe we could all have stayed for weeks more. We were truly sad to leave these great people, lovely park like grounds, convenient, yet private location, and a chateau which became home.
