  Charming, quirky & friendly

  Quiet small hotel in centre of city, Chateau may give the wrong impression as it only has a few rooms. Room was a reasonable size and furnished in a 'period' way, but comfortable. Run by very friendly husband and wife and in the centre of this small, charming city. No restaurant but restaurants a short stroll away, breakfast at the hotel was delightful and served on the patio (bright sunny morning) although somewhat expensive

  Quirky boutique hotel in a great location, though expensive for what it was

  This beautiful old house sits in its own grounds with parking spaces. Our room was quirky, with traditional decoration and furniture, but it was all in good order and clean. We ate breakfast outside in the garden, which on a sunny September day was a nice treat. Our only complaint would be the cheap bed frame which had obviously given way under a previous occupant, so as soon as we sat on the bed, it gave way again. We fixed it, but came close to asking for another room. Room was expensive for what it was.

  Perfect

  We spent a perfect stay in the hotel. The owner made everything great. We had wonderful room, comfortable and class. The hotel is situated in the heart of the city. Everything is close. You feel like a prince in this little castle. We recommend

  Good hotel but let down by poor hygiene.

  The hotel is well situated in the centre of town with secure (free) parking. The rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished in an antique style but our stay was spoiled by the fact that there was a very unpleasant, drainy smell in the bathroom, which permeated into the bedroom unless the door was kept tightly shut. We intended to complain to the proprietor about this before we left the next morning, but he was not in evidence. There was only a maid serving breakfast, who evinced no interest in our complaint

  Enchanting Estate Nestled in Agen

  We had the delightful pleasure to be hosted by Stefan in this hidden gem of an estate located very conveniently to downtown Agen. From the moment you set foot on the grounds you are taken aback by the charming character of the building and well kept foliage. It is almost as if you step into a time loop when you enter the hotel as the interior decor is eclectic, traditional, and worldly. Although we were hailing from all over the world, the hotel felt familiar and cozy this no doubt due to the management of the hotel by the gracious host, Stefan and his lovely pup and staff! I highly recommend staying here when visiting Agen, I know I will as it feels like going to see a loving relative when you enter the warm home of Stefan and the hotel.
