  Save your holiday don't go there

  It's look beautiful from outside but when you pass the get you coming in a horror show of the lady of the house You will book nice suite but receive tinny room in the roof If you complain she will get mad and sent you away Don't go there !!!! At least expedia understand and give me my money back

  Beautiful old restored and decorated castle in great very calm nature

  We stayed one night in the B&B and had a room in the castle itself. Reception was warm and very nice in the beatifully decorated breakfast room. The castle is still being restored by the owner who is an architect and still being decorated by his wife who also did a superb job so far. You hear the passion for what they are doing when they talk about what has been done and their plans for the future. We left the window open at night and the only thing we heard were the owls in the woods surrounding the castle. Breakfast left nothing to wish for! We will be back.

  Just ok

  We stayed one night. The caste is beautiful, the owner is restoring it since 15 years. Very friendly welcome with a glass of cava. We slept in the buildings in front of the castle. Small room, no wifi, no television, old bathroom, no soap,.. The room was clean. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice and a very good service. All this for 120 per night.

  Delightful experience !

  We booked 2 double rooms for one night and stayed in the stable complex opposite the castle. The offer of afternoon tea or coffee was a lovely touch on arrival. These were modern rooms with comfortable beds, ensuite was adequate ( 'though shower over the bath is getting beyond someone with bad knees ! ) . Absence of TV was not missed. Tea and coffee in the room was nice but discovered that power points nearest the kettle were not working. Hairdryer supplied was a nice touch, but no shampoo. The highlight for the four of us was talking with the owner and his wife and the young man and his girlfriend who help manage the place - a tour of the house was offered, which we eagerly took - and it was a wonderful 1.5 hrs spent learning the history of the place and all the hard work that has gone into restoring it to its present condition. It has really been a labour of love. The passion and love for this place in its cathartic restoration is obvious. The breakfast was superb and service was efficient - nothing was too much trouble. There was to be a wedding at the Chateau only a few hours after we left but we were not rushed or hurried out in any manner - we could only imagine what a delightful day in a magnificent venue this wedding was to be - even the weather obliged beautifully. We will definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a special place or venue.

  A Magnificent Stay!

  Our stay at Chateau de Vierset was magical. The property is beautiful, having been lovingly restored by its current owners. Our family stayed in two double rooms in the main building, and enjoyed every modern convenience while still delighting in the historic building. We brought a picnic dinner with us, and the proprietors were kind enough to let us enjoy it on the chateau grounds. The following morning's breakfast was generous and tasty. One of the highlights of our visit was the owner's guided tour of the property, with lots of information about the building's history and the painstaking restoration process. Truly a stay to remember!
