ExcelenteEste nuevo hotel es excelente, sin ser un hotel de lujo realmente conforma a un huésped exigente. Con una decoración fuera de lo común para un hotel de su tipo se diferencia del resto. Muy buena su ubicación.

First timeI checked into this place I didnt even know it was back there. The front desk clerk was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I stayed on the first floor I had a couple drinks in the bar they were excellent. The only problem was my my bed my mattress was hard as a rock and I thought it couldve been much more softer but other than that everything was outstanding and Ill definitely be back.

First Time at the Andell Inn But Proobably Not the LastThe property is tucked away in a quaint area that has just enough to do if you are looking for a simple (if you choose) outdoor themed getaway. It is close enough to a variety of restaraunts and other local shops, groceries, and outdoor activites. The hotel's decorum in the lobby is unique and reminded me of an art gallery. It is tastefully done but makes and is a great way to view the artwork of the featured artist. With COVID restrictions, most Marriott hotels that we have encountered in the last few months offer a grab and go breakfast that is pre-packaged and boring. The staff at the Andell Inn found a way to offer a selection of breakfast items in a COVID-friendly fashion. Who gives you fresh pancakes these days at a hotel breakfast bar? The breakfast selection was good but it was the professional and good attitude of the staff that made the breakfast experience even better. I give the 2 young men staffing the breakfast area, the highest rating for making sure the area was clean, the food was freshly stocked, and the beverages were as well. (I forgot their names but remember that they were from Jamaica.) They performed in their role as if they were in a more upscale eating establishment. They were concerned not just providing food but seemed to be aware of the condition of it and the way it was displayed, and then some. These men represented themselves and the company in an excellent way. Just a few steps outside the Andell Inn is the retail area which offered nostalgia. There was a drug store with a soda fountain, there was also an ice cream shop. The gas station has old-style pumps as decor in front of the building. The village square was decorated at Christmas and offered an outdoor movie one night during our stay. There are bike paths around the island that will give you a chance to experience nature while exploring the area. Walking along the beach is possible since you are within a few miles of it. From the board walk, just a few doors down from Andell Inn we saw dolphins. It was a great experience at the Andell Inn and being on the island. I am not a golfer but appreciate that this area gives you that as well. I am glad we chose it during our stay in the Charleston area.

Perfect stay. Gorgeous hotel! This place is so cute!! Friendly staff! Great bar drinks and a gorgeous common area to enjoy them in! Small bites bar menu was perfect. Great included breakfast as well. The room was clean and cozy. Mini fridge and microwave included. Check in and check out were easy breezy. Wonderful location for quick walk to many shops and about 7 different restaurants in the Fresh Fields Village, as well as a 30 minute drive into Charleston. Absolutely no complaints! Fantastic hotel!

Sylvester StayWe just spent 12 days at the Andell Inn. My wife and I travel for work and we stay in hotels weekly around the world and this was the best overall hotel experience we have ever had. The staff was awesome! Absolutely perfect! Eloisa, Clair, Victoria, Merideth and Nicole executed flawlessly everyday without fail. Aside from being smart, attentive and the best overall staff we have ever experienced, these ladies could all be runway models. Our suite was wonderful, had a full kitchen, everything we asked for was taken care of and aside from an excellent channel line up, they even had Pandora available on our tv. We signed in and listened to our own stations everyday. Housekeeping was excellent and our room was always clean and well stocked. The daily breakfast buffet was outstanding, served until 10am (great!), had a wide variety of food choices, the staff, Redean specifically, was spot on, it was well maintained and my wife loved the mimosas. We extended our stay three times and the ladies at the front desk accommodated our requests perfectly. The Andell Inn is beautiful and we felt like family. The staff knew us by name and were there for us just enough, but not too much. Being located next to the fantastic restaurants and shopping at Freshfield Farms is a total winner. The choices there are amazing and its literally right out of the front door and has some of the best restaurants we have ever eaten at. And admittedly, Ive never seen a hotel that uses the honor system at their hotel store, yet they do, and it works. The views are gorgeous as the hotel is set on a lake and the marshlands of Kiawah Island. The lobby music is uplifting and the perfect touch anytime day or night. The hotel is very tranquil and relaxing no matter what the reason for your stay. The owner Don Semmler has nailed it with this property. Bravo!! The Andell Inn is a perfect 10 and we will be staying here again on our return to Charleston. There is nothing bad about this hotel that we could find and in a world of Covid and excuses about why things cant be done, the Andell Inn has overcome all of this and raised the bar even higher. Other hotels need to take lessons from this property as they have broken the code on how to make their guests happy. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will be back. We actually miss seeing the staff everyday. Sincerely, the Sylvesters
