  De paso hacia phi phi

  Excelente opción para pasar la noche. Nosotros solo dormimos una noche de paso hacia phi phi. La gente muy amable. Hasta nos imprimieron una hoja sin costó alguno. Lo único no tan bueno es que la habitación no tenía ninguna ventana. Muy limpio. Muy agradable y muy buen aire acondicionado. Recomendable

  I'll give a quick disclaimer, I adore this place for so many reasons but mostly because of Ying who works on reception, by the end of my short 3 day stay I felt mothered by her but I'll get to that in a second, first for the review! Room: I was given the deluxe room, it was nicely decorated, I very comfortable large bed, with fresh water provided each day, the bathroom I'm not sure on but only because of the frosted glass door, I'm very British when it comes to my bathroom time :) both the bedroom and bathroom we very well presented, clean and well equipped. Food: This guest house doesn't have a restaurant service, there is a fridge in the reception were you can purchase drinks (beer/soft drinks/water) there are plenty of well priced restaurants and street food vendors around so you won't go hungry. Staff: Before the mushy stuff I'll give the practical review, Phuket was a short stay before I went island hopping, as I'm terrible at arranging travel the staff (Ying) helped with the most, at the Chaphone Guesthouse they're also a 'travel agent' so booking my connecting boats to Phi Phi and Krabi was made really easy, also booking taxis to surrounding beaches, seems simple but all adds to the service! Right, Ying! This woman is amazing, I was met with a smile every time I passed her and always felt compelled to have a 5 minute chat with her, when she spotted my mozzie bite ridden legs she expressed real 'motherly' concern, If ever I passed while she was snacking on something I'd her 'you try' before it was thrust in to my hand and the day I checked out she bought some coconut rice parcels for my journey, she even took the time for a photo and waved me off as the bus pulled away, they say it's the simple things in life that make he difference but this woman should be valued! Mushy stuff done :) My stay was cheap, if you're looking to lay by the pool while someone fetches you cocktails then it's probably not for you, if you want a nice comfortable setting to get your head down after a day of adventure or lay on a beach then book it, you won't regret it!

  Great location

  The location is fantastic as its just a 5 min walk from Terminal 1 bus station. So easy to get anywhere. I chose a windowless room because from past experience PhanNga road is very noisy. The lady at reception was delightful, so friendly and helpful. My room was lovely, beautiful bathroom and very quiet at night. It had tea making facilities, a fridge and free wifi throughout.

  Amazing location, lovely staff, beds not so great

  Fantastic location right next to the drop off for buses and minibuses alike and only a short walk to shops, cafes and restaurants. Lovely lady running the hotel who was very helpful with booking transportation onwards. However the beds were very uncomfortable and made for a tricky nights' sleep!

  Nice room

  The room was pretty decent. Nice bathroom, nice bed, fridge, aircon... Only bad thing I can think of is that there were no windows, so it was a bit dark. The location of the hotel is a bit away from all the main places around so you might want to rent a bike!
