  Up All Night

  I checked in Christmas Eve at a price of $249 + $50 pet in fees (two dogs). At 2am, the folks upstairs from me barged in and would not shut up. I called the front office but nobody was in, so I either had to confront the people upstairs, or live with it. at 3am, I decided to take the dogs and head back to Los Angeles. Okay fine - they can't always control guests, and it's a small motel (not really a hotel) so I don't expect them to stay up all night at the front desk. But what really got me was, 1) when I went online to get the number to call on that night, the room was going for $92. wow, I got hit pretty hard for planning ahead. 2) I wasn't allowed to stay on the 2nd floor because of my dogs. Too bad the dogs and I were quiet as a mouse and my upstairs neighbors were not. Finally, 3) I called and suggested that I get reimbursed the pet fees of $50 to make amends for my very bad night. Without a call back (I called twice), all I got was $25. Save your money, stay elsewhere. Also, the other reviewer was right about Suite 9. The toilet didn't work.

  Lots of other quality choices in town. Lots of oddities and could use some cleaning and tender loving care

  Had acquaintances in town and opted to give them and us a little privacy so opted for a quick drive away place for a few nights. Pros: Decent price for a last minute booking, convenient location, adequate/no cost parking on premise and small patio area in front of each room entry. Cons:Staff mostly friendly but Debbie the manager is a bit off or moody, they have an evening happy hour which is attended and monitored by the manager, rooms not anything special, not particularly sanitary, dogs allowed but not restrained or proper potty care available, lack of night supervision despite offering free liquor from 7-9 PM and extended pool time so things get noisy and unruly. Designed more for traveling adults with no children.

  Much nicer places for same price/ bugs in bed!!

  We found Chantico Inn from hotel tonight and trip advisor. When we got there, there is mold in the toilet, the carpet stunk, the sink faucet was broken. The room was very dark, couldnt read or see to put makeup on. Woke up in the middle of the night getting bit by bugs. The morning my entire stomach was bit up, the owner/manager didnt care. Asked for a photo of the bug, no refund or sorry. The pool was nice on a hot night, but dont waste your money. We stayed in room #17 and i slept in the bed closest to the bathroom, this was the bed with bugs.

  Fantastic stay!

  We LOVED the Chantico Inn! We came for our anniversary, and rather than walking around during our date night, we ordered Pizza and hung out in our room! The jacuzzi in the room was fantastic, and whole energy was just amazing. Loved our stay and cant wait to be back.

  Quick overnight stay

  Great, comfortable beds, fabulous hot tub, and pool!! Nice place, nothing wrong and very nice people running this nice place. Was very happy! Very close to town walking distance. Comfortable slept good.
