  Good service and discrete staff

  I'm in this Hotel for job. In complex the service is very good, international restaurant is ok and breakfast rich and with a wide choice. The room cleaning and quality is ok, I've had a problem with air conditioner and they solved it quickly. The guest relations manager directly has been interested in solving it. The atmosphere is relaxing and discrete, nobody disturb you at phone like in other Chinese hotels. Not all staff speak English, but they do their best to make you understand. Wired internet connection directly in the room. Money exchange in lobby. I just feel a little embarassed in speaking with staff, due to my not perfect english and maybe because there are not so many european guest visiting Chongqing. Today, if I will be able to explain them, I will try the gymnasium centre or the internal swimming pool (there is also a beautiful external swimming poll, but today is raining and it's the only not working day for me, sigh!). In the hall and in all hotel there are a lot of painting remembering Venice. I appreciate it, I was in Venice on last may for holiday and this remeber me that beautiful days ...

  Vacation stay and Banquet Room Rental

  Two years ago, we rented the banquet hall and food service for a large birthday party, and it was excellent. Last year, I returned for a summer holiday with a friend, and had a great stay at this hotel. I am returning again in February.

  Splendid stay

  I stayed for three nights and found this hotel to be outstanding in all respects. My deluxe room was remarkable in size, in tasteful furniture and decoration, in quality of the bathroom including large shower and jacuzzi and two sinks, and the large balcony. My only, quite minor, complaints are that one hande on the closet door fell off and was put back on each day and then fell off again at night---don't they get that something more serious has to be done?---and the clock is left blinking 00:00 each day instead of being set to the proper time. Internet was excellent, free and fast. The room is light and airy and served with excellent quiet air condition. Breakfast has a wide selection of great food. Service is good and plenty of space exists for everyone to find seats. The coffee area makes a fine espresso of world-class standards. The conference area includes a rather large theatre and the high-tech screen and sound system are far better than any I have seen in hotels so far. The hotel has a beautiful grand entrance and large, pleasant lobby level with a life-like scene of Venice behind the check-in area. The hotel is only about 3 km from the so-called Ancient Town, which is quite beautiful including small "river" beside good restaurants with outside seating. The area is pleasant to walk around because of the nice buildings and clean streets and of course clean air. I would definitely stay here again.
