  Nice place

  We reached late in the evening and checked out in the morning. Did not have much time to explore. The Haveli is in a small village. The room we stayed was comfortable for 3 adult. Very cosy. All amenities were as expected. Linen and washroom were clean. Overall a good stay.

  Quaint Little Hidden Gem

  We needed to make a stop for a day on our way to Ranthambore for which I had seen Chandra Mahal's reviews online and had booked it for my entire family and I am so glad that I did. We reached Paharsar village after dark and the staff had helpfully placed themselves at the tiny village crossings to guide our vehicles. Not knowing what to expect with the unassuming entrance, we were pleasantly surprised as we entered. The warm staff and management was there to welcome us and provide any assistance. The property is an old renovated haveli, with a lovely courtyard in the middle, with beautiful yet simple Dholpuri Stone work and architecture. They have a lot of open spaces to explore with lawns and a pool. It is a lovely blend of old school heritage and hospitality with modern services. The staff is extremely helpful and professional. We had several demands and requirements for food from the various family members and the staff arranged for all happily. I would recommend this tiny little haven for couples and families who love the quaint, the rustic and love exploring local heritages.

  Stay at Amritara Chandra Haveli

  Had a comfortable stay at the haveli. Good services and pleasant stay away from city and traffic. The place is inside a village and one may not expect such a beautiful residence with required amenities.

  Best weekend getaway experience

  The haveli is absolutely beautiful and located in a very quaint village perfect for a weekend getaway. The property is beautiful with spacious rooms and their staff is very gracious. They made sure we had a wonderful stay. It's a place worth visiting. Would definitely recommend.

  Nice stay

  We had problems while booking the property. MMT showed lesser prices than the hotel booking but the hotel was not agreeing to those rates and were telling us that MMT would be cheating you probably. MMT said pets were allowed which weren't. I mean it was funny how MMT could put things or rates without concurrence of the hotel. Reaching the haveli. Took the Agra Highway. Till Mathura it was good. After that it was painful. Entrance. Haveli is situated in the middle of village. Approach road is like a village one. Typical with buffaloes on the road. The fields were looking awesome though. Entrance is lil non-descript. Lobby. Nothing grand. Just a table making it look like a temporary thing. But it wasn't. Means to go to the room. Staircase. We had suites booked which were in the first floor. Narrow staircase. Room: beautiful rooms. Small but comfortable. Loved the mattress. Super. Suite has a small sitting room and a courtyard with a Jacuzzi. Which didn't work well. View from the room. We had a garden view room. Nothing much. Furniture. Basic furniture is there. Need and chairs and a Dewan. Comfortable arrangement. Amenities: Swimming pool was not functional. It was being reclaimed during our stay. Safe available. TV available with only couple of channels. Fridge available Eye piece not required. The whole wall is of glass. Tea and coffee provided AC were there of songs local brand. Didn't use them coz cold. Telephone was there. Bathroom: was really nice. All white and spacious. Fixtures were of jaquar but not functioning properly. The sink mixer used to dance. Shower mixer wouldn't work despite best of efforts. Cleanliness was good. hair dryer and toiletries were provided by the hotel Room service: Standard was good. Responsive Staff was friendly House keeping: Standard was good Restaurant. The property has one restaurant. The preparation was very good. Except for couple of dishes. Only issue was that they were very charry about timings which with kids used to get a lil difficult to follow. But they were really sweet to wait up for us everytime. Over-all a great time in the haveli.
