Like your own little chateau! This is a lovely, elegant place. We stayed 3 nights in a very big, very lovely room overlooking the garden. The bathroom was new and well appointed. In the main room, a large, comfortable bed, seating, table, TV. Amazing floor. Very peaceful. Our welcome was warm and friendly. Breakfast - inside or out - was ample and locally sourced. Theres more to the village than meets the eye from the main road.

Really Really GreatAfter a hard 7 hour drive from Italy in Mid October we received a wonderful reception from Véronique and Guillaume on our arrival at Le Manoir de la Manantie. Beautiful building inside and out, surrounded by a wonderful garden. Our room the Saint-Taurin suite Balnéothérapie was very comfortable and roomy overlooking the garden. Nice to have access to coffee and tea in the room. The bathroom is newly renovated to a very high standard and beautifully appointed. Veronique was exceptionally helpful with restaurant recommendations to suit our dietary requirements which we passed on in favor of an excellent dinner that Veronique prepared for us which is offered and we can recommend to take up this option. Breakfast was equally outstanding. Sadly we only had one night but would happily stay longer next time. Thank you Veronique and Guillaume, It was a pleasure to meet you.

Amazing charming placeThe owners are extremely welcoming, the property is a dream place. The rooms are perfectly clean, and well designed. Food was also really nice, made by the owner. The breakfast was superb, with the honey coming from the owner's bees farm.

ExcellentWhen we arrived at the Manoir late afternoon we felt a bit sceptic, as the guest house was situated in what seemed a rather quiet village. We soon found out we were so wrong, our stay at the Manoir turned out to be a wonderful experience. On our arrival our hostess provided us with leaflets and maps that gave us enough information for the four days we would be staying at the Manoir. Romantic walks, a visit to Vichy, beautiful roman churches, relaxing drives in the surroundings, we enjoyed it all. Each day Veronique served us a wonderful breakfast with home made and local produce either in the garden or in the stately dining room. But there was more, she also cooked us a very tasteful dinner twice. And then there was Guillaume, our host. He entertained us with his knowledge of Auvergne wines and made us try several of his excellent wines. Every time we open one of his bottles at home we will think of La Manoir with very warm feelings.
