  Just minutes from downtown and Avenue de Campagne. You have your own suite with sitting room. Attention to details from good mattresses and linens to tiled shower, white towels and even washcloths. Having stayed on the go in Paris, we overslept our first night, awakened by breakfast delivered to our door. The piece de resistance are the meals, which is why it is called Les Epicureans. Laure cooks everything herself -- except, I think the baguettes, which some warm and toasty with butter, honey and jam. She makes a delicious chocolate bread, akin to ones you find in a Jewish deli in the States. Yum. There are so many offerings for breakfast that you hardly know what to chose. Here's a tip: Laurie was not there and her son, Lubin, ably took care of us. Being Americans, we like a cup of coffee BEFORE breakfast so the second day we asked if a French press pot could be delivered a half hour before breakfast, Voila! We had the light dinner the night of our arrival and do not see how anyone could eat the standard offering. The freshest lettuce had in France in a salad, along with an assortment of cheeses, banquettes, dessert and a demi champagne. Just perfect. There are only two rooms, both of which open to a courtyard,, and should I return, I would opt for the "horse room," where the bathroom is in the back of the suite.One small U.S.-style suggestion: It would be convenient to have a shelf adjacent to the sink to put ones toiletries so as not to move back and forth from the lovely table.

  Champagne et Chevaux

  Last-minute we were looking for an accommodation and so happy we found Les Epicuriens! Laure is very friendly and easygoing. Welcomed us with champagne and a late-night meal. The suite is horse-themed. The bed is very comfortable. Thanks for having us!

  BEST, BEST HOST!!! AMAZING LOCATION!!

  Like others have said, this is a great location, great rooms, clean bathrooms, relaxing courtyard, very quiet, comfortable amenities, street parking is available somewhere on/around her block, but the best part of this place is the host, Laure! I originally told her we would be there between 1-2 pm but we got delayed. I sent an email but she didnt get it in time. It was totally my fault, but if you wont be there when you originally said, just call her to let her knowgreat English. The two rooms are on the bottom floor of her house, so she wants to make sure shes there for your arrival. Even with my mistake, she was so accommodating and dropped everything to hurry home to welcome us in. Throughout our two night stay, she was very friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions based on our mood. Would have like to have her cooking like so many commented on how yummy it is. MOST AWESOME THING ABOUT HERhee helpfulness. Our rental car died when we tried to leave. She was so very helpful. She served as our translator for the every call we needed to make (and there were plenty since it was Saturday, over lunch, with so many Europcar numbers not working, etc with problems). I just cant say enough about what a great person she is. If you choose to stay here, you will not be disappointed. A very trustworthy place. THANK YOU, LAURE for everything!!!!

  Jolie, jouette, agréable

  Les Epicuriens is very well located in the center of Epernay with access to restaurants and big champagne houses within walking distance. It is the private house of Laure and her family and has two beautifully decorated suites. We were lucky to get one on a mid September weekend in 2019. It is quiet and comes with a shared terrace for the two suites. Laure is a wonderful host and offers a glass of champagne as a welcome treat. She cooks dinner for you if you order so. Her breakfast in the morning is excellent and served at the time you wish. Parking on the street might be available, but not guaranteed. We really enjoyed the stay.

  Simply the best!!!!

  We have just got home from the loveliest stay! Laure is the best host, so welcoming and friendly. The suite was perfect, super comfortable bed, so many thoughtful touches. Loved the complimentary welcome flutes of champagne. We opted to have dinner and it was delicious, served in our sitting room everything home made used with regional products. If you are travelling to the region this is the authentic way of discovering the champagne culture! We will be going back as soon as we can :-)
