El hotel está situado en una colina en las afueras de Kyrenia, en el norte de Chipre. Su ubicación es imbatible, ya que se beneficia, por un lado, del impresionante paisaje de las montañas Beshparmak y, por el otro, de las vistas abiertas al Mediterráneo, toda una extraordinaria experiencia visual. El centro de Kyrenia (Girne en turco) está a unos 7 km y ofrece numerosas oportunidades de compras.Este hotel de diseño, que fue construido en 2007, consta de un total de 174 habitaciones y ofrece lo mejor en hospitalidad, servicio y alojamiento. Los huéspedes son recibidos en un vestíbulo con servicio de recepción y salida 24 horas. Además, se dispone de aire acondicionado, caja fuerte, servicio de cambio de divisas, guardarropa, ascensor, salón de peluquería, auditorio, casino, parque infantil, discoteca, conexión a Internet WiFi y aparcamiento. Los clientes que viajan por negocios sabrán apreciar las instalaciones para conferencias y, por un suplemento, se ofrece también servicio de habitaciones y de lavandería. Los huéspedes podrán comer y beber en la cafetería, el bar y el restaurante.Las habitaciones cuentan con cuarto de baño privado con ducha, bañera y secador de pelo.     Lindo hotel. Bien cuidado y limpio. El personal es amable pero casi ninguno habla inglés. Los espacios de la piscina y el spa, divinos. La comida muy del lugar. Lo que intentan como cocina internacional, es desabrida. Para nosotros fue complicado comer. El desayuno es pobre en variedad. Algunos quesos y ninguno untable mas otras opciones que no eran de nuestro gusto. No vi opciones para recreación de chicos. No recomiendo ir con chicos. La piscina es de agua helada. No hay ningún tipo de vida nocturna salvo los casinos. Esta alejado de los diferentes centros comerciales del lugar. Hermoso lugar con mucho para mejorar. No volvería.

    Nos alojamos en este hotel en el mes de junio. Al llegar nos llevaron a unas habitaciones que daban miedo. Al quejarnos nos trasladaron a otro edificio del hotel y la diferencia era tremenda. Pasamos de un hotel de 1 estrella a uno de 4. La pileta y la playa del hotel estan muy lindas, pero la playa está lejos del hotel y hay q ir en un transporte que te proveen ellos pero dependés del mismo. Consejo: buscate otro hotel y si es posible del lado griego.

    5* Wonderful Service, Beautiful hotel

    We were so lucky to have been taken here for our 7 day Covid Quarantine. Murat, the GM, made sure that all of his Covid guests were being well looked after. As we could not leave the room his service staff were available 24 hours to provide anything that we needed and usually responded within minutes if anything was needed. As the quarantine package is controlled by the ministry the food is simple, but good. Meals are regular and at least 6l of water is supplied daily. A change of bedding and towels is supplied regularly. This is a well managed hotel which puts the care of its clients at the top of the agenda. As a hospitality practitioner and senior lecturer in hospitality and tourism management I was impressed. We look forward to returning under more normal circumstances to enjoy a meal in the restaurant and to meet Murat in person.

    Quarantine Stay

    I cannot praise all the staff at Malpas enough. We were there for our seven day quarantine and it was a pleasant stay. Considering the disorganisation at airport regarding which hotel we were going to (7 hr delay) we realise how lucky we were to be sent to Malpas. Food was served very timely throughout our stay and they clearly tried to cater for all palettes. Water was provided generously and on the tv occasion I called reception to make a request they were very very helpful. They even surprised my mother on her birthday with a cake and flowers totally exceeding our expectation. I would most definitely go back there as a guest once the hotel resumes Normal service. Well done to Murad and team

    Very far from a 5 star

    My husband and I stayed here last week for our 7 days quarantine. I would give a 2 star but feel some allowance has to be given for their likely reduced staffing, closed amenities etc. at this time. But this hotel is more like a 2 or 3 star, definitely NOT a 5 like advertised. We arrived early hours of the morning and the first staff member who greeted us and took us to the room was helpful and polite. We were given water and some snacks and he carried our case for us which was appreciated. The room was very dated, surfaces unclean and smelled very strongly of stale smoke, as did the hallways. Our bed was broken and the shower flooded the bathroom everytime it was used. We had no towels on arrival and it took until late afternoon the next day and 6 phone call requests for us to get some. And even then they just gave us one towel between two! The food wasn't great but again that is probably related to the quarantine situation. Room service ends at 6.30pm which is very early, and options are very limited (especially for a vegetarian!). Overall we found the staff were anything but attentive. I appreciate they did not all speak very good English but their attitudes came across as rude. E.g. We would wait at reception and be ignored. There was also a lot of confusion and mixed messages about when we were allowed to leave quarantine. Some of the staff who dropped off the meals were more friendly. The WiFi was pretty good throughout our stay and enabled streaming and WhatsApp calls, work emails etc. Based on our experience we would not recommend a stay here. We would recommend reducing the stars to a 3, updating the rooms and ventilation and training the staff on customer service skills.
