  Peace and Quiet

  A wonderful bush setting not far from the beach. Only the birds to hear. Large grounds and lodges. Great for singles, families, groups.Covered Bbq area. Indoor eating area. Seperate dining room for breakfast. Very clean rooms. Crisp linen and not a bit of mildue in the shower Whooppee!! Friendly couple who own the place. No bother getting extra milk or tea bags.   Retreat!

  This place is a retreat, it has old world charm and is not a hotel with modern trappings. You will find treatments like massages, facials, clay wraps. This place is great for groups, the tired and exhausted whom need to recharge their batteries and get away from it all. Nature and all its occupants are here to greet you. This is my fifth stay and I Love it here. Remember retreat not hotel!

  Lovely energy

  We had a lovely time at this property n the hosts were just amazing! The surrounds n land are beautiful and the hospitality even better! The views from the room was amazing and we felt welcomed and at home.

  Greed over compassion

  Me and my mum were booked in for 1 night and after checking in, we immediately went out for dinner and I was unfortunately rushed to hospital with severe Gastro We hadnt checked in 1 item in the room prior to going to dinner, so the room was like we hadnt even checked in My mum went back to the retreat to explain that I was in hospital and unfortunately couldnt stay as she has no idea how long I was to be in hospital for She asked the owner for a refund as we couldnt stay due to me being admitted to Hospital and he flatly refused, even though there was no way he could have re booked the room as it was 8.30 at night Complete disregard and disrespect for our situation, and the only regard he had was to keep our money for absolute no reason Even if the booking has gone through, he could have refunded my mum when she went there to explain our situation I can now see why he is so desperate to keep every cent to himself to survive over compassion, as the place was an absolute disgrace which I would rate a lucky 2 star Cant wait to see him go broke, he deserves it Sean

  The WORST experience Ive had at a hotel

  Sooooooo bad! The hosts were TERRIBLE!!! Totally agree with another review which said the hosts were overbearing and wouldnt leave guests alone. Had the exact same experience. The whole time they just complained and whinged- bothered you when you didnt want to be bothered and were definitely overbearing and intrusive. They didnt stop! Relaxing was impossible. These strange people didnt seem to care about the guests experience. It seemed to be all about them. So if the guests said they were exhausted from a loooong day travelling they didnt care. The old man who owned the place was going to bore the guests with a long boring tour whether the guests said they wanted it or not. Thats not hospitality- thats selfishness. These hosts need to know how to give the guests some space. Guests arent there to go what they want- they are there to relax! Hosts were also very greedy and inflexible. They didnt understand the pressures of travel on time and fatigue. The hotel itself was very old and tired. Also difficult to find. Will never go back. Dont understand why people like this are in the hotel industry. Just awful!
