  Fantastic week in Argentiere

  Stayed at Chalet Argentiere with a group of 10 friends in mid March. We had a brilliant week. The host Simon and Amy were incredibly helpful and cooked us fantastic breakfasts, cakes and three course dinners! Simon also took us on a day trip to Courmayer in Italy which was a bonus. Gary and Emma from Valley fever were a great help and made the whole process very smooth. The chalet, hot tub and bedrooms were great quality, comfortable and very welcoming after a full day out. The skiing in Chamonix is varied and great for all abilities, with Grand Montets a 5 min walk away the chalet is ideally located. And the private shuttle service was absolutely ideal. Thoroughly recommended!

  Fab Family skiing holiday in Chamonix

  With an excellent Chalet, Valley Fever helped make our holiday fabulous. Thanks to Paul, Emma, Gary, Jo and Sophie (Tom and Lil) for looking after us so well. Starting with the easy transfer from the airport, transport to all the local ski areas each day plus a day trip to Chamonix. Food and wine was great, accommodating our family's fussy eaters and a nice touch of tea to our rooms each morning. Chatel was very nice, cosy and warm. Great view from the Hot Tub of Grands Montets. Definitely recommend !

  Awesome chalet booked with Valley Fever

  Had a fantastic week in Argentiere in this brilliantly located chalet. Walkable to Grand Montets and the bus stop is at the end of the drive so only a few minutes on the bus to La Tour and as booked through the wonderful Valley Fever - they also put on door to door shuttles to all the domains in the area. Can't fault the wider Valley Fever team and especially the chalet hosts - they created a brilliant vibe, made amazing cakes for post ski and the evening catering was top class. Lovely to chill in the hot tub on the balcony after a day's skiing and the chalet has a lovely relaxed, homely feel to it. Easy to get into Cham on either the train (station opposite the bus stop at the end of the drive) or by the ski bus if you want the bustle of town but Argentiere itself is lovely with all the amenities you need - a supermarket, restaurants and a few bars for apres. Really enjoyed my stay and can't wait to go back.

  A brilliant week with friends

  I stayed at the chalet the first week of Feb in a group of 8 friends and it was an absolutely perfect week. Our whole experience of booking was smooth and Gary and the team at Valley Fever were super communicative and helpful throughout the whole process. We're already planning on going back next year! Things to know: The food: The food is delicious and plentiful - from eggs and bacon, pastries and cereal in the morning, to the cake in the afternoon, to the 3 course-meals and canapes in the evenings. I've never been so well fed before! The skiing: Some of us were at ski school in Le Tour so the location is perfect. It ended up being a favourite location even for the more experienced skiers amongst us. Grands Montets is also literally across the road and the transfers meant we made it to some of the other resorts as well. Don't miss taking a day to Courmayeur if you have the MBU pass - it's a beautiful resort and lunch on the slopes is to die for. If you need lessons, book with Evolution 2 (the recommended company by Valley Fever). Our instructor was fantastic: patient, clear, supportive and fun and she really made our experience. The chalet: The chalet is cozy and comfortable and the view from the porch and the hot tub for sunset is just incredible. We spent most afternoons in the hot tub and then nights lazing around on the sofas playing trivial pursuit after dinner (warning: it's from about 2004 so not great for millenials!) with the fire on and it was pretty great. Our hosts were lovely and attentive and full of great recommendations about skiing, food and more. Note: Argentiere is much quieter and smaller than Chamonix so if you're looking for a thriving apres-ski scene this might not be the chalet for you!

  Everything you could want!

  We stayed in Chalet Falcon in March, there were 9 of us and we had the whole thing to ourselves which made it feel a lot more like home. Our hosts Will & Anne were amazing. Super helpful for advice for skiing and going out at night. Theyd drive us anywhere we wanted in the morning to ski and cook insanely good and varied meals at night! Even catered to our Vegan friend. Everything was clean and quiet and amazing. Couldnt have asked for a better trip. Thanks guys!
