  Ski holiday

  Last minute booking for a ski holiday. Chalet very clean. Welcome cookies on arrival. Rooms small but functional. Shared loos but that didnt seem to be a problem. Room 5 not the best as its hot and the window opens onto a corridor all other rooms have a view and windows open for fresh air. We had Liv as our chalet host. She was chatty personable she joined in the fun learnt our names really quickly and also is a great cook!!! From breakfast to her cakes to the evening meal and she didnt get cross if we were a little bit late. Now Im an intermediate skier but managed the ski back to the chalet. The walk to the slopes a bit icy but ok. Great resort and excellent apres on and off the slopes.

  Very noisy

  We just stayed there for one week. The location is good and the flats are nice. However, the basic phonic isolation is missing between the floors. So be aware that youll spend your holidays with your neighbors around. Unfortunately for us the neighbors above where 12 young guys. The management of the hotel could not do much to help us because they rent the flat to a tour operator all over the year. We will definitely not go back there.

  Not a 4 Star residence

  While the location is good, the service and the maintenance of the building is appalling. The ski shop has old material which is not quality, the maintenance and upkeep of the building is not up to a 4 star property and the cleaning is not up to the standard expected. The pool is nice but stuck in the 90's.Noise from British all inclusive travellers from neighbouring apartments. Better value for money found somewhere else.

  Well run accommodation

  Hotel was in a good location for accessing the bars and shops in the top part of the resort. They ran a shuttle service for driving you down with your skis to the nearest piste so you didnt have to walk which was a useful feature. Also they supply bakery goods in the mornings to order. Apartment had a large open kitchen and lounge area. Rooms were quite small and bathrooms were slightly aged. The swimming pool was cold and the sauna didnt work that well as the heat escaped round the door.

  Excellent choice

  We are a family of four, used to ski in Val Thorens (we come twice a year for the past 15 years). The residence Chalets des Neiges is an excellent choice, very nicely located in the station. Also, due to Covid this year, we had to cancel our reservation at the last minute, and we got refunded immediately and in full, despite less favorable official conditions. That was very kind from this hotel. Highly recommend a stay there (would book directly through the hotel, rather than going to Booking.com or similar platform: better prices, more flexible bookings) Bon ski
