Worst hotel ever!In the middle of moving house I needed a place for my wife and son to stay. I booked them into this 'motel' and the first night I received a call from my wife saying that my son had been screamed at by the manager for opening a door. Today I received a frantic call explaining that he may have chicken pox! Quick trip to our favourite chemist at The Links found that it was bed bug bites. My wife and son went back to the motel to only find that the manager called my son a liar (10 years old) and that he must have got 'bed bugs' from school. I would not put my worst enemy in this motel! They should be ashamed at the way they treated my family and I look forward to DHHS and the local Council inspecting the premises.

An experience not to be repeated.Let me say out the outset that my room was clean, reasonably well equipped and satisfactory value for the money. End of the positives. Parking in the motel carpark, the presence of a derelict car was cause for concern. Approaching the front door it was apparent that maintenance of the gardens and property was an alien concept. I nearly walked away but the deal was prepaid and non refundable, so I pushed on. The internals of the building were extremely tired but as mentioned above, my actual room was acceptable however the shower was found to alternate between full cold and full hot without the taps being touched next morning. What was disconcerting however was the disturbances in the hallway overnight with many comings and goings. I was to discover a lady of the night was conducting business in the room opposite. Continental breakfast was included in the tariff. I had seen the breakfast room and been intrigued by the tables covered with bedspreads. In the morning three bedspreads had been removed to cater for dining guests. The "spread" was meagre and I'm afraid I used the entire allocation of butter pats. So...if you like to live life on the edge and experience new adventures this maybe for you. But it is not for me ever again.

Fit for purposeI needed an inexpensive, basic place to sleep and shower near an event in which I was participating. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower held its temperature. I was able to sleep well. I always departed before breakfast was served. The free wifi connection was reliable. The manager was pleasant and helpful.

Couldn't sleep or shower - doesn't meet basic requirementsWill never stay here again. Main purpose of a hotel is to sleep and shower but couldn't do either here. The bed was a rock. Pillows were bricks. Even though we had a back room, the noise was still bad. After a terrible sleep, wanted to wake up with a coffee, but milk pods weren't replaced. Though I'd wake up with a shower, but the shower head flopped against the wall, and would not tighten to stay up. Tried to shower by holding it up, but water shot out of both joints and hit me in the eyes, so would need 4 hands, one to hold it up, 2 to stop water spraying me in the eyes and and other to wash. Room was filthy with marks on walls that could easily rub off, bottle caps under couch cushions. Fixtures were coming off the walls, paint was badly chipped. Toilet seat was too far back, so if you sit forward, you pee on the floor, if you sit back to end up with brown mess down the back. Don't mind if a hotel is very dated (which this one was), but expect a hotel to fulfil the basic needs of a hotel. Spend $50 more and stay a block down the road and a much better place. Stay anywhere but here.

This "Motel" shouldn't even be listedChadstone "Executive" Motel is 100% NOT an Executive Motel. It couldn't be further from the truth. I stayed there once before, overnight only, about 2 years ago, but as I was only in Melbourne for a few hours, I didn't really notice the entire surroundings. This time I was there for 3 nights, and OMG!! I'm so sorry I did. Whilst its budget accommodation, it is dirty, untidy and after a conversation with a local source, was informed the motel is rented out by DHS families etc. A majority of the rooms are used & hired as long term accommodation for people 'doing it tough' so to speak. Nothing against this, but it's not an Executive Motel as the name claims. The windows, doors, carpets.. NOTHING, is clean. Everything is old, tired and dirty. I believe this accommodation should not be listed on websites as an Executive Motel.
