  A nice airport with plenty to do.

  Don't forget, please give a 'helpful vote' if this helped you! We used this airport four times on our trip with outbound and inbound flights and everything is well sign posted so you can't get lost. This is a big airport so expect walking but if this is difficult there are buggies and moving walk ways all over. The staff are friendly and there are plenty of places to eat and drink if you have the time. Our suggestion would be to use the Airport Rail Link to get into the city rather than a taxi. It's much easier and for only 45 bht, will save you a lot of money!

  Nice modern airport

  I came in and left by this airport. The incoming arrivals was fairly quick and quiet organised. I picked a chaufered car up where the arrival area was a bit chaotic. On the departure side, plenty of food outlets and shops. Nice modern airport but long distances to walk between Gates.

  Visa on arrival

  Try to get your visa before you land ... The visa on arrival is a frustrating slow and tiring experience which can take 2-3 hours. After a long flight it is a nightmare the system they have to give visa Wonder why can they make this experience more efficient

  Visa on arrival buzz killer

  First time using their visa on arrival, it takes 3 hours not because too many people but the line moves very very slowly . There are 5 staffs working at the window but no efficiency. There are multiple lines you have to get through until finally getting ur visa.

  nice hotel close to the airport

  Nice clean hotel close to the airport. Rooms are smaller but nice to have a balcony overlooking the pool. We stayed 2 nights so we could rest before our flight back to the States. They provide a shuttle to the airport. There is also a mall within walking distance if you want some last minute shopping or convenient food.
