  Good value for money

  Our family of 4 stayed for a week to ski/board the Espace Killy ski area. We booked the 4-6 person apartment to avoid anyone having to sleep on lounge sofa beds. Even so, I thought it was a very good price for what you get. The hotel itself is well run by friendly staff. This includes the sister building a 5 minute walk away where the excellent spa and pool are located. The use of these facilities was included and while a pool is always great we particularly loved the steam room and jacuzzi. The apartment is well located for the lifts (ski in/out), restaurants and supermarket. Nowhere is a hassle to get to. Inside, the apartment is very well equipped especially in regards to the kitchen and we definitely appreciated the amount of space in addition to the 2 bedrooms. Beds were comfy and the whole place was clean. The only negatives were: - the pillows were poor. Small and flat so that you had to double them up for any support - the sofa, being a standard foam sofa bed, is pretty uncomfortable to sit in for more than 20 mins as the foam compresses and you slowly slip lower and lower - you are asked to very thoroughly clean your apartment before checking out to avoid and additional charge. I thought it was a bit of a hidden cost and was not mentioned in any marketing material. It would be fairer if they warned you or built it into the price but offered a discount if you wanted to clean your own room. All in all though it was very good accommodation in a great position in an excellent resort. I'd recommend and would be happy to return again.

  Great apartment, but stunk

  Great resort, loved the skiing. Hotel facilities were great and staff helpful, but our apartment had odour from drains or sewers that wasn't dealt with. For the amount of money paid, I would expect a resolution.

  Nice spacious Apartments, very close to the slopes and shops

  We had a Lovely Accommodation with Balcony overlooking the slopes on the highest level 6 (room B35) Please make sure you request to have a nice sunny scenic view when booking On arrival the resort offer 2 hours free parking which is huge whilst you check in, The receptionist was very welcoming she explained everything very well and in very good English Overall I was very happy with our accommodation but its a shame that a little bit more thought and probably not much more cost could have made it excellent The kitchen was very well equipped The dining chairs were solid wood, removable cushions would be a nice thing to have and would make it much more comfortable We had 2 sofas which was ample but they didnt offer any support they seemed to be just sponge seat 3 large double bedrooms with storage 2 bathrooms Flat screen tv and WiFi is also available free of charge and the balcony offering stunning views of the slope and lift It is advertised as ski in ski out and this is true for skiers but for boarders it is board in and scoot out as it is too flat to get to the lift when strapped in with both feet but at least you get warmed up ! It takes about 1 min to ski to the first lift from the back entrance of the accommodation or a 3 minute walk out of the front of the accommodation to a choice of 4 lifts were you will also find the main Apres ski bar Overall we had a great holiday but with a few comfort tweaks it could be excellent Nevada Accomodation is 10 mins walk away

  Apartments were fab no complaints would definitely use again Close to slopes and town centre, quite. clean, warm, endless hot water, kitchenette well equipped Reception staff very helpful Free room upgrade on arrival

  Good location, comfortable stay

  The location of the apartments is excellent, giving ski in access from the slopes directly behind Val Claret, and a short walk or poling on skis to the nearest lifts. A nearby supermarket provides essential food, and there is a bar and ski shops close by. In terms of the apartments, these are spacious and well laid out. Ski room lockers are massive. The spa facility at the Nevada which allows free entry was very good. Couple of minor negatives, the kitchen equipment was slightly lacking, in particular pots and pans were too big! The beds are comfortable but I really prefer a firmer mattress. And this isnt specific to this location, seems to be an issue in all self catering apartments, there is often loud music or banging in neighbouring apartments, thankfully, it only lasted two nights and was quiet for the remainder of the holiday. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Tignes.
