Excellent three star valueA good choice in a three star hotel. Rooms spacious, modern bathroom, 24 hour hot water. The rooms are clean. Location is excellent, five minute walk from the Bell Tower, ten minutes from the heart of the Muslim Quarter. Ten minute walk from the terminus of the airport shuttle. The staff speaks very little English. This hotel is better known as the Holiday Apartment Hotel. We got lost looking for the Xi'an Century Landscape Hotel and nobody knew the hotel by that name.

Strange placeGood points: spacious rooms, agreeably decorated, good location near Bell Tower etc. Bad points: No communal space except the lobby that opens on to the street; no western breakfast, bread but no butter; getting rather shabby, and repairs not done; no English spoken. Strange points: its in a multifunctional block, with offices, flats, another hotel, and perhaps other things I didnt see. From the lift in the lobby to my room I passed a flat and offices, and if I took the nearest lift to my room, I ended up in the lobby of another hotel. My room had a kitchen attached, with cupboard, a cooker hood, but no cooker, and no utensils. Presumably, some of the rooms do have these things, since the lobby advertises also Holiday Apartments. Across the road, and therefore equally convenient are Days Inn and Ramada. May be worth checking those before booking.

Awful, DONT GO THERE!This hotel was absolutely awful! Words cannot express our disappointment in the hotel after all the wonderful reviews we read and the nice pictures we saw. DONT GET DECEIVED BY THE PICTURES, THEY WERE TAKEN 20 YEARS AGO! 1. Nobody speaks ANY English at the hotel, so in case you want to communicate with someone or ask for something, please bring your Chinese to English dictionary and some pencils and crayons to draw and make sounds and use your hands to explain an airport 2. Apparently, the whole cleaning staff was either on a vacation for the last 2 years or was laid off because the only thing sort of clean were the bed sheets and the towels. Bath was awful and scary, there were small flies and cockroaches, smelled like a recent poop, and the toilet has not been cleaned for maybe a decade. Also the drainage was full of hair. Oh the scary spots on the walls...Oh the horror 3. Unless you are a Chinese, do not bother to turn on the TV 4. Various choices of condoms displayed in the room/kitchen next to the water boiler 5. Breakfast was absolutely to die for. Literally. 6. Location was very good but absolutely not worth the horror we saw and survived

A little gem if you can get the right price!Booked over the Internet I got a twin room for 220 Yuan inclusive...a bargain! Clean big room, with large beds, modern bathroom, kitchen, plenty of space to store stuff, good LAN Internet, very handy for local attractions (Muslim Street, Bell Tower, shopping malls...noisy from the traffic, but that's why I always travel with ear plugs Highly recommend!

Led astray by the nameI don't know how this hotel got its name: there is no landscaping...perhaps it translates poorly from the Chinese. In any case, this is an apartment hotel - there are two interconnected buildings. One needs to be let into one's room each time - not very accommodating. Bed was HARD. Not suited to this westerner's needs. I needed to stay another day in Xi'an - moved to another hotel across the street rather than extend pre-paid stay. Location is terrific for easy access to the Moslem quarter, outdoor markets, Bell & Drum towers.
