  Ok for the price.

  The aquatic park attached to the hotel was impressive, and we took advantage of the inclusive price to use it and the spa as well. The spa has several gimmick-y machines that claim to "eliminate cellulite" or "invigorate your body", but they are just that: gimmicks, but fun nonetheless. We had a 30-minute back/neck massage that was very relaxing. On the downside, the wifi throughout the hotel is terrible - always dropping, always slow IF you can even get a connection. Most rooms face a busy road, so quite noisy regardless of where they put you. The rooms can use a good update, unless they were going for that 60's look. The town is only a 10min walk away, but once there, don't expect much - there's really not much to see or do despite the rich history of the area! The hotel restaurant was good, but be sure to mention it to the staff if you have meals included, because they won't give you the same menu and the check-in staff don't tell you that you have to point it out to them.

  Pleasant Hotel with Lots of Add ons

  Always a pleasant stay at this Hotel, Clean Comfortable Rooms, Food in the Restaurant is of a High Quality, All the Staff are helpful and willing to please, lovely Swimming Pool Loads of Extras Massage, sauna, Aromatherapy Dressing Gowns are available at a small cost

  Feels like 90's

  The hotel rooms are spacious, look ok although you feel like you're back to 90's. The only problem is that the smell in the room and toilets is not the best which makes you sure its not well cleaned and disinfected... Regarding breakfast- nothing special. Too many 'complicated' saldas instead of fresh food. I prefer to have a smaller but fresh choice of food from wide and uncertain menu...

  Nice hotel recently renovated

  Hotel Akwawit is right next to an indoor water park and a church. Parking in the secured section costs 23 zoty a night ($7.50). We could have parked in the unsecured lot at the water park next door. The clerks spoke English. Has an elevator and air conditioning. Oftentimes, when the hotel has an elevator you still have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs outside of the building. This hotel had cement ramps for wheelchairs so we were able to wheel our heavy suitcases up to the "main" level. The room is small with two beds, a desk with two shelves, small table, three chairs, two nightstands and a closet with shelves. No drawers. Amenities include Air conditioning, coffee/tea service, TV, Free WiFi, bottled water, hair dryer and liquid soap. What the room didn't have was kleenex, bar soap or shampoo, a safe. Were given 1/2 hour of spa time per day which we didn't use. Great breakfast buffet. Dinner in restaurant was very good.

  Not as good as it was

  We always stay at this hotel when visiting relatives, booked as normal online, arrived to find that the swimming pools were closed and had been for some months, No mention of this on line, Room had been refurbished and was clean and comfortable, we noticed that there were No coffee making facilities but the day we left we found then tucked away out of site in a cupboard, we have always used the Restaurant for our evening meals / Bar drinks, we went to the restaurant at 21.30 and were told that the kitchen was closing in 10 min we had to eat our meal in our room, so No drinks that evening and early to bed, and not informed about the early closing of the restaurant / bar, Previously Open Till Midnight Nothing on the TV No English channels, Hotel location is not in an area where you can just walk to another Bar
