  Stayed again af=ter messing up a reservation elsewhere!

  I have not stayed for 3 years but was remembered! Brilliant. The hotel has only a small door to street in a pedestrian area [the Christmas market was there] and I walked past it more than once! Welcomed and got the last single room. Clean, tidy and good shower. Good food. Very helpful staff who speak good English.

  Very helpful staff

  This hotel is indeed central and in easy reach of the DB station and the on foot, but quiet. The proprietor (or manager?) was very helpful with suggestions for our stay and provided passes for us to use on the Schwebebahn (Suspension Railway). Breakfast was substantial although we were not asked on every morning if we would like eggs but there were plenty of cold meats and cheese.

  Difficult to find when by car

  A nice Hotel in central Wuppertal. They have a special rate for parking in a garage 5 minutes walk away. Our tip is to park in the most nearby parking, then walk and check in. The helpfull staff will show you the cheaper garage for longer stay. We had a quiet fine room on the back side of the hotel (superior) with a good bed. There was a bath and a shower that worked okay. Water from the tap was only warm and hot. Breakfast buffet above expected quality, very nice, much to choose from. When visiting the Wuppertal area we can recommend the hotel.

  ideal location and lovely hotel staff

  so easy to find from station, bit of renovation there but just follow zentrum sign and the hotel is straight ahead next to the vodaphone shop, about 10 mins max. rooms clean and comfortable; extensive breakfast buffet and the lovely lady who runs it cooks a perfect sunny side up fried egg. frank at reception is very helpful and friendly with perfect english, he knows almost everything about the town and can look up rail and bus times with unlimited patience. thank you frank for all your recommendations. we hope to return again.

  Small, pleasant and central

  Stayed once again and was made very welcome. The hotel is very close to the station in a shopping street. It is quiet and the proprietor is very helpful. You pay a location tax for which you get a voucher for all local transport. The overhead railway - however - is closed for urgent repairs until August!
