  Poor customer care

  We couldn't book online as the site seemed to not be working. We tried to call several times without success. We decided to go, but on arrival we were told that the park was full. The staff member at the entrance was disagreeable and unapologetic. It was not indicated on their website that the park was full. We made the journey for nothing and our day was ruined.

  Enjoyable but wouldnt stay again as dirty and run down

  We regularly stay in Center Parcs in the UK do thought we would try Center Parcs in France. First we stayed in Villages Nature outside Paris, which was clean, new and beautiful. We expected the same from Les Hauts but were really shocked. When we entered the Premium villa it smelt stale and damp. There was mould up one wall and one of the bedroom windows was rotten and loose. The villa walls were covered in insects. We went back to reception and were moved to a nearby villa. This had chipped furniture, worn curtains, grubby light switches and squashed bugs on the walls, but was an improvement. The Aquamundo was better maintained but I get the general sense that when things are broken they just dont get repaired. When things are dirty the only get a very basic clean. The slides are fun and my kids loved the rapids. There was an age restriction on the slides but rules werent enforced. This meant that there were babies in armbands going down the rapids. Groups of people going down the slides together. The paintball, quadbikes, mini golf, high ropes and badminton were excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. Well definitely stay in Villages Nature Center Parcs again but never in this resort. There is a reason why this is cheaper that the UK break.

  Cottages need better cleaning and Aquamundo was more crowded than expected

  Weve been regular visitors to Centerparcs over the years. So compared to other sites, this one is not much different, broad offering of activities, nice grounds, and considering COVID-19 there was still plenty to do. Two items that need attention: - Cottages need better cleaning. We found our cottage quite dirty: dusty/sticky floors and bathrooms; and even the cleaning tools (brooms and vacuum cleaners) provided were dirty. So had to do extra cleaning not great of vacations. - Capacity at Aquamundo should be revised during COVID. First, the park and staff take all the right measures to comply with regulation and limit spread of the virus: hand sanitizer is widely available, social distancing reminders are placed everywhere, traffic flows are well marked and mask wearing is compulsory in all indoor spaces and some outdoor activities. The challenge is that once people enter the AquaMundo all these precautions go out of the window so to speak, there is too many people inside the pool area to respect social distancing in the pool, water slides queues and the outdoor river. Perhaps the park should limit attendance or set-up a schedule to make sure not too many people are in the pool area at the same time.

  Extremely crowded, specially in corona times!

  The facilities (bungalow, aquamundo etc) are good but old and lacking maintenance. Which was fine as we were not expecting a 5* place. The amount of people we encountered during COVID-19 times was absurd, absolutely not safe, specially in the swimming pool people were touching each other all the time. They don't have a reservation system so it was packed all the time. DO NOT GO DURING COVID-19, HIGH RISK OF BEING INFECTED. Measures are not taken seriously, specially in the Aqua Mundo.

  Avoid at all cost!

  We have checked-in on a Friday for a three night stay. The place was unbelievable crowded. I was absolutely shocked about the lack of protection measures in place regarding COVID-19. The place was overcrowded and there was absolutely no barriers and no social distance. There was no one to enforce the measures neither. I decided to leave the hotel the first morning. At the hotel guest service, they admitted the issues, agreed with the request and gave me a letter confirming that I was leaving earlier. They also gave us the link for a website where the refund should be requested. Its been 15 days since I had submitted the request and the company did not reply. Based on reviews Ive seen online, it seems very unlikely that the refund will be made.
