  Imatra - the town of the great waterfall

  Hotel Cumulus Imatra is very central in the small town. Jus outside the door you find restaurants and shops in the pedestrians' street. The staff is very friendly and helpful - the breakfast a bit disappointing. 5 minutes walk from the hotel is the main attraction: The Imatrankoski waterfall. In the summertime the waterfall van be seen every day at 18.00 o'clock where it opens for excately 16 minutes. It is really worth seeing! Take your car to the hotel - very good parking at the roof of the hotel.

  Old-fashioned and dirty

  I wasn't expecting anything fancy when I made a room reservation, but this was certainly under expectations. The bed wasn't clean at all - there were hair and a variety of stains in different colours, especially in daily coverage of the bed. Ugly! I asked, how often they wash that daily coverage and they tought they don't necessarily do it at all. The breakfast room was dark and old-fashioned, not necesserily dirty but quite poor anyway.

  Hotel with a great location

  Center hotel imatra is located as the name says, in the center of the city. Location is the best. To imatra's amazing waterfall is five minute walk and there are plenty of shops right in front of the hotel. Hotel is not lately updated but the price was good. We had two cats with us and we only paid 10 for both of them for one night. This was the main reason for choosing the hotel. They also have free parking on the roof and free wifi.

  The hotel offers a great location, it is the center of Imatra. At the same time the hotel has free parking (on the roof of nearby supermarket). Small children who do not need separate beds are free of charge, it was very relevant for us. The hotel has a friendly staff. They gave us a voucher for discount (for prisleduet visit). Breakfast not offers you a hot meals except porridge but it has a lot of choices delicatessen and cheese. They also offer real juice (not reconstituted from concentrate) and even fruit. The hotel needs a little renovation, but I recommend it for a couple of nights.

  Fourth night of our trip to Finland

  Check in was good but the room was very stuffy. I slept with the window open and a fan was supplied in the room to keep cool. The service in the restaurant was eclectic to say the least but they did try hard with us foreigners especially with our Scots accents. Hotel in general could do with a make over but what you see is what you get for a cheap price.
