  It should not be a hotel

  I work in a hotel and honestly it shouldn't be ranked as hotel or even dorm or i dunno. We booked a superior room & we were surprised that AC is not working, not remote control plus toilet was so dirty though the room was set to "inspected" status. we changed room to lower floor and we were surprised at night that there is no water to take a shower and when we talked to the lady (i guess she is the manager) she was like yeah we just ordered water & after a small debate that this is not acceptable in a hotel, she said simply you can change the hotel. Honestly i've never had such experience in my life. Simply this is not acceptable for a hotel.

  Not what you would expect

  Not what you would expect from a 3 star hotel. Located in the central area, but there are loads within the district. No safety box is included in the rooms, even if advertised so; you have to use the boxes that are at the counter.

  Cheap, clean and safe.

  I found this hotel to be in a great position where everything is within walking distance. The room was clean and serviced daily, aircon was perfect. The bathroom had been renovated, was clean and functional. It has a lift which is important to me. There is no room safe however there security system works well and I felt very secure.The staff were lovely and the manager was very helpful. I loved the fact that it was central to everything but stepping into the street you leave it all behind. Several local food vendors are nearby as is an excellent laundry. If you are on a budget this hotel is worth a look.One negative, next door to motorbike depot and this can get a bit noisy.

  Great value, Great location, Great Service, a little dated

  We paid 480 baht through booking.com which equated to about $15 AUD. So considering the price for one night's accommodation I think this place deserves 4 stars. The only negatives that I can think of would be that the decor was a little dated, no safe deposit box in the room and there was a bit of construction going on out front. But it was just some tiling as they are upgrading the front porch area. The manager was extremely helpful. She helped us book a meter taxi, she gave me information about opening times of surrounding businesses, made light conversation with me (in quite good english) and was generally very polite and genial. The location was perfect. It was very close to the Bangla Road which is less than 5 mins walk away but the hotel is still tucked away down a back alley and as a result we weren't disturbed by any noise except some drunk people coming in at 5am. But I can't hold that against the hotel, it's not their fault and if you stay so close to the main going out area of Patong Beach you should expect that. The AC worked. We didn't try the breakfast as you a are a stone's throw away from 1,000s of options. A lady parked a fresh fruit stall outside the lobby at 7am and we ate there for about 20 baht!! Hotel is 40mins from the airport and 750 baht on the taxi meter including the 100 baht airport surcharge. Bottom line is we'll stay here again if we are back in Patong Beach.

  Close by and clean

  The hotel is settled on a side street just off the main road in Patong. With Jungceylon just up to road and access the cinemas and shopping a great pace to stay. The rooms are clean, bathroom main en suite and aircon, that is aways important in Phuket. Will be back as I find this little piece of haven not only to be incredible cheap, the staff is great and I just love staying in little hotels in friendly neighbourhoods
