Great family holidayFantastic family all inclusive with these lovely peeps. Was right at the end of their season so a lot of the outside places were shutting but the selection of food and drinks were excellent and the staff amazing and incredibly friendly. Ricos and jonny were the boys, helpful and a good laugh on the bar. Beach 5mins walk if that was fantastic, especially for my 4 and 5 y/o boys as it was very shallow for a good 30ft+ out. Thoroughly enjoyed and a huge thanks to all the staff

BrilliantI stayed here in June '19 and it was absoutly wonderful! I had read many reviews before coming, some positive, some negative, many indifferent, so was understanably dubious. I had no need. Food: We stayed for 7 nights, and ate out 3. This was not a reflection of terrible food within the hotel, we were just keen to sample local cuisine, and support as much local business as we could. (if you do choose to eat out, i highly reccomend Vinaz, the food is wonderful). However, the food that the hotel offers is supberb. As a family of 4 (45,44,20,19), we have never done an AL holiday before, as a bunch we are hard to please, and very fussy). Everyone found something to eat every day though. The breakfast is more than adeuqqete, with a selection of lovely bread, eggs, beans, sausages, bacon (not the best quality, but that is to be expected), pancakes, pastries. Lunch and dinner are both fanatstic, they have the staples (fries, brugers, pizza), a lovely array of salads and fruits, a lot of choice of veg.The hotel lets itself down slightly with the desserts, which are all varients of bland mousse, but this does not detract from the dining experience. There is a snack bar open throughout the day, which is brilliant, espeically for kids. Thereis unlimitied icecream (wth sauces and sprinkles), as well as pizza, sausage rolls etc. The drinks are local brands, the lager is fine, and the soft drinks are rather sweet (unbranded), but not unpleasant. There are various stations around the resort to help yourself to soft drinks, and 3 bars for alcoholic beverages. Room: We stayed in the Annex Duplex which is in the newer part of the hotel. I would reccomend upgrading to one of the newer rooms if you are able. This part of the hotel is beautiful. The pools never got busy, there was always somewhere to swim, loungers were ample, hardly anyone jumping on the selfish "reserving" bandwagon. The cleaners are attentive and very friednly. They spent upwards of 40 minute on each room, leaving it spotless each time. Facilities: The hotel hosts multiple pools, the main one which services the most rooms, gets the most packed (but even there are loungers available throughout the day), but there are an erray of much quieter ones (including a reasonably sized shallow pool (i am 5'5 and it came up to my shins) perfect for kiddies. There are pool tables generously dotted around, though they require a coin, something that people don't tend to have a supply of whilst on holiday (currency exchanges don't tend to offer coins as standard), so something to bare in mind if you are keen. If you are looking for evening entertainment, this hotel may not be for you. It is lackluster, if even existent. The hotel owns a minimart right next door. The service recieved in there is next to none and prices very reasonable. (6 large bottles of water for 2 euroes). We saw many people buy their evening nibbles, and drinks from here. Location: The hotel is not too far from the airport. it is about 15 minutes drive from Laganas (the party strip) which we were intially considered about, but you wouldn't even know. kalamaki has two main streets, this hotel is located on the quieter of the two, though it still has its fair share of bars, tavernas and souvinier shops. The busier street has a larger variety of bars, taervnas and shops and is just 5 minutes walk away. We saw on TUi that the beach was very near by, i think that perhaps we went the long way, walking 20 minutes in blaring heat. But the beach is beautifully sandy, with a clear sea. Sun beds and shelter was reaosnable (6 euroes for 2 chairs, all day). Pedalos are avaialable to hire (we hired one with a slide, which was 15 euros for an hour, but they had ones without a slide for cheaper), this was a great way to spend some time. We took the bus into the main town, the bus is not greatly reliable in regard to a timetable. Also be aware that it takes a much shorter route there than it does back. The journey there took 20 minutes, with the journey back taking an hour, on a crowded boat. I was not overly impressed with the town itself, didn't have much too offer, but was very pretty. I can not reccomend doing an excursion enough. We did one to Turtle Island and it was probably the highlight of our holiday. TUI offers many for a high price. I reccomend booking locally (there are many places to do this), we paid 15 euros per per, for roughly 4 hours. Do not miss out on such an incredible experience. Also, there is wonderful bar, called "The Cave". It is in a remote location, on the top of a hill, however, if you wait at the bottom (the hill is at the top of the road that the hotel resides), a man comes with a petrol buggy type vechicle. For a tip, he will take you to and from the bar (this sounds dodgy, so dodgy that we didn't attempt it until our last night, after a few drinks). The trasnport there is wonderful fun! and the bar is even better! The views from up there are phenmonial and we regret only visitng the once. Try and take the negative reviews with a pinch of salt. This is not a 5* hotel, it simply is not advertised as so. The food can get a little bit repretitive, but it is nice food. The drinks are a little sweet but you can have as many as you like, when you like. For the price, its a wonderful holiday.

Pros and ConsArrived end of October, wrong time because of Thomas Cook literally everything had closed except 2 bars and restaurants. We paid alot of money compared to others we soon found out and not sure why, we paid extra for a swim up room which was amazing the kids lived in the pool! We were well fed, the food was hit and miss and covered in flies and wasps and cats everywhere which was sad
