What a fabulous placeThe staff are so courteous, professional and friendly. The rooms are absolutely divine, especially for us mid budget travellers, and the restaurant has a yummy menu, especially the breakfast choices are varied and cater for both Europeans and locals alike. It is within easy access for main tourist sites; we booked to visit Borobudur and Parambanan through the hotel with a private driver but I took unwell after a couple of hours and we came back.early; they were really kind and refunded half the cost. It was so unexpected, thank you. We will stay there again .

GoodThis hotel located near to Malioboro (not on walking distance tho), i incidently choose this hotel due to full occupancy on almost all hotel i usually stay in Jogja. Having early morning flight from Jogja so i choose to stay here for transit only. Arriving at 11 pm, welcomed by friendly concierge who also helps me to vallet my car. Being upgraded to higher level room, room size was okay, carpetted floor, extra king size bed (220cm), good tv size, its clean and well maintain. Bathroom size was addequette, good amenities, clean and crisp towel. Basicallt havent tried any facility as i left in early morning, but this hotel are worth to consider when staying in Malioboro area.

Will not come againWe stayed for two nights..originally booked for 12/29 to 1/2 due to change of travel plans. There were endless number of problems that we faced where the food that was served was very salty and had no flavor. Flies were waiting to land on the food. The staff were not trained properly to communicate in English. The bath towels were very grey and dirty. The bathroom wall decal was peeling off and the flooring stained with mold at the corners. The bedsheets had period blood stains and questionable spots on them. The slippers were not made to walk on wet floors. Need anti-slip ones. The safe deposit box was not provided in the room. The staff brought up the small safety box and placed it in the closet ... considering the size and the weight how easy it was to put ... it could be quite easy to hoist away... the shower head releases lots of pressure but the pipe was not good enough to drain the water so it overflowed to the bathroom... needs a bathroom shower door stopper. The pool - the design is funny as it is on two sides of the hotel and being outdoors but when it rains... it kills the mood to even swim... Wont come back again.

Terrible hotelI took my family to Yoga, Indonesia and stayed at the Cavinton. I want to share my terrible experience there. We had two rooms and both showers flooded into the floor of bath room each time we took shower. I called front desk asked if they could send couple bath towels up the room so I could dry the floor and to prevent water from flooding the room. I was told that they need to charge extra 30 thirty thousand local currency for each towel. I said then send a house keeper to clean the bath room. They did nothing! The shower was badly designed that there is no warer-stopper between the shower door and the rest room and they basically set on same level so water flows freely. I would not recommend this poor quality hotel to anyone! John

OKMy visit actually was on end of December last year.. I stayed for 2 nights only..we've got upgraded to executive room and the room was very spacious with king size bed and a view to city of Jogja..unfortunately,water from shower flew to sink area so we have to be very careful while showered and also the shower windows were not dark enough to cover our body and people in the bedroom saw us while showered :).. breakfast was ok with various options of main and side menus
