  Amazing for family with young kids

  These cottage are well kept and has anything you want ( kitchen with all the needed stuff to cook a decent meal and ) . Each unit has it is own BBC. Their are different option in cottages. It is beside shining water amusement park. It has a good safe play ground , swimming pool, basket pool and soccer net so kids will have a lot of fun even if you don't go out of the area. The staff are amazing. So peaceful and relaxing just sitting in front of your cottage. They have a playroom with laundry if needed.This my fourth visit.

  Best Cottages in Cavendish!

  We stayed at Cavendish Maples for one day/night a week ago and really enjoyed our cottage and the set-up of the whole place. Clean and quiet - a good distance from the busy road. We had a one bedroom deluxe which was perfect for us - just the right amount of space and everything we could want/need. Loved that it had a propane fireplace which we used at night and in the morning when it was cool outside (great customer service from a nice gentleman from the office who came to our cottage right away and lit it for us because it wasn't working - hadn't been used all summer - lit up perfectly with the flick of a switch after that). Unfortunately it was too windy to enjoy one of the nice outdoor fire pits - but really great that they are provided and include firewood. We took advantage of borrowing a Cavendish Beach Park pass from the office (a very nice perk of staying here!) and drove along the route getting out along the way and taking in the gorgeous scenery of the red cliffs, and walking along the beach. We also borrowed one of the DVD movies from the office which we enjoyed that night, cuddled up in front of the cozy fireplace in our cottage. We had a great stay here and would definitely recommend Cavendish Maples - we've stayed at four different places with cottages in Cavendish and this was our favourite by far!

  Awesome and #1 place!!

  This place is beautiful. Trees and nice grass. Lots for children and adults to do as well. Pool and hottub are super and playarea and some hammocks! Firepits to share. Horse shoe game ..soccer area..basketball fun..and a badmitten and volleyball net. Next door to a kids amusement and minutes walk to all the rest. Cottages clean and well stocked.We were 10 ...a family of diff ages and was prefect! Thank you for the top service and looking forward to returning for another vacation there!

  Perfect home-base for off-season PEI stay.

  My wife and I were here for 11 nights on an extended PEI visit. We wanted to be located close to, or in, Cavendish and the Maples turned out to be perfect for us. Our cottage had everything we could want. Well stocked, cozy and very comfortable. With the beautiful grounds, and wonderful service, we couldnt have asked for more. Tips for Seniors: We, being seniors, picked an off-season stay with all that entails (no kids, less traffic, much cheaper rates etc). If you like peace and quiet, like us, then come early September. I suspect this would definitely not be the case July & August as the cottages are right next to a large amusement park. But, when coming off-season, beware that many businesses, restaurants and such close from early September to early October so you do want to check prior to booking and make sure your chosen destinations will be open. Other than that, the Maples will be a perfect home-base. They really are the best cottages around.

  Another great visit to the Maples

  This was our 6th year at the Maples, we began with a three night stay and the past 2 years for 7 nights. The accommodations are excellent, clean and everything you require are in the cabins. There are so many things to do, pool, games, and so close to all the kid attractions. I would recommend a stay at the Maples to anyone going to Cavendish, we will be back again next year.
