    We loved The Causeway B&B!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Causeway B&B, it was exactly what we wanted. Ideally situated for the sites we wanted to see on the West Coast of Ireland, its cosy, clean and run by a lovely family who are really informative about the area. Our double room wasnt huge but it had en-suite bathroom, storage space and a king size, very comfy bed. Perfect for our stay. Theres a good size breakfast menu to choose from and Michaellas fry-ups are just wonderful! Evenings were spent sampling the Bushmills Whiskey at the bar by a coal fire. Brilliant!

    Breakfast and Guinness!

Wanted to stay somewhere local to the Giants Causeway so decided on this b&b. Warm checkin and advice given to visiting local attractions and when to avoid the crowds and save money. Room was comfortable and homely. Breakfast fantastic-traditional Irish breakfast went down a treat. Ample free parking outside. Nowhere nearby walking distance to eat and we got caught out with everywhere closed on a Sunday night, so had to settle with take away pizza in the hotel bar with a pint of Guinness (owners more than happy for us to eat there). Good location for exploring the Causeway area, about 5 mins drive to the Causeway itself (too far to walk).

    Lovely Traditional Tavern

We stayed here for three nights between Christmas and New Year 2019, the tavern was exactly as we expected, very welcoming. the rooms are basic but clean, the bed was very comfy, HUGE amount of pillows and cushions!!! we were in room 4, the one thing i would recommend to the owners would be to put a small wardrobe in to hang clothes. The bar area was lovely, very quiet (as expected at this time of year) with an open fire and a great selection of Bushmills Whiskey :-) The Breakfasts were amazing! superb value and more than enough, breakfast times were between 8-9, would be nice to extend that until 10 so guests can have a bit of a lie in :-) They DON'T serve any other meals, this is clearly stated in their details, it seems some reviewers fail to accept this fact! Plenty of places to eat in and around Bushmills but you will need a car/Taxi if your not Irish, you may need a translator for some of the old boys' stories :-) :-) :-) Please dont expect a 5 star hotel, if you want that, pay 300+ a night for it, if you want a welcoming, friendly and clean guest house, this is definitely for you! Highly recommended and would not hesitate to re-book for our next trip over.

    Lovely B&B

Very comfy bed and breakfast will fill u for the day. Room is nice and warm but not too warm. The pub looks like it would be a bit of craic if COVID would just die already. Shout out to Charlie and family who are extremely hospitable and pleasant folk. Would highly recommend

    Highs and Lows

As a B&B this establishment was perfectly adequate but I experienced a few issues generally so I thought it would be fair to mention....however it should not be read as a direct criticism, merely a service prompt. The first issue was with Booking.com...I would suggest that people contact the premises directly . We checked in on a rainy Tuesday afternoon about 4pm, and as soon as we had they gave us the breakfast menu to preorder....preorder 18 hours in advance and even before you see your room...The room as I said was clean , towel and facecloth provided but no bath towel or anything big enough.... So wifi code noted and down to the bar...which essentially is a room made out of a garage and a bit added...COVID screening in place and a bit of a jumble..ithe receptionist/bar person was more interested in topping up her own drink and tipping point to serve us but we did get served and to be honest the Guinness at £4 a pint wasnt worth the wait...so we only had a couple. Had we not prepaid we may have gone elsewhere...we went into bushmills to get cash and a pastie and returned. Mine host was now on the vodka and Emmerdale was taking most of her attention...so a couple of pints and bed....
