Not a good night sleep to be hadI have been to many time shares and unfortunately this one was not on my top 20. First I need to preface my review by saying that a great deal of little things can be over looked when you get a good night sleep. Unfortunately, getting a good night sleep in these units was few and far between. Pros: The property has a great location. Close the North Conway and Mt. Washington. It is clean and very cute. Each unit has a gas grill and outside table & chairs. Inside the units the hot tub worked well and the air conditioners worked well. There is plenty of hot water. Cons: The beds. The main bedroom has a queen bed, which for larger people is very cramped. The bed was comfortable but way to small. The second bedroom has two twins and at the risk of sounding like Goldie Locks....one of them was way to soft and one was way to hard. By the 4th night, instead of enjoying the vacation experience, it because a quest for a good night sleep. I got bedding for the pull out couch in the living room (you have to go to the front desk and request bedding). That has a 3" mattress on it that doesn't even come close to covering the bar in the middle. On the 5th night my husband went to Walmart and got me a blow-up mattress that we set up in the living room due to the fact that it was the only other room in the unit that had a TV other than the master bedroom. If you are a small family with up to 2 children this unit would be perfect. Anything more than that or if you have more than two thin adults and I would NOT recommend. The only other thing I feel is really worth mentioning how clean the unit was. Everything looked great when we got there but over the stays I noticed some cleaning issues. There was A LOT toothpaste speckles on the bathroom faucet and there was trash in the nightstand and hair in the dresser of the second bedroom. I wish I could give a better review. The location is perfect.

Cathedral Ledge Resort......stay awayWe checked into the resort based on other reviews that it had been updated. We had a stand alone cabin. The unit had a known ant problem because there were ant traps all over the place. It was crawling with ants, especially the kitchen including inside the refrigerator. We requested to be moved and were told that they couldn't accommodate us because they had no rooms. They sprayed insect spray which the man said that we shouldn't breathe in or it shouldn't be sprayed near food. 5 days after we checked in, he came back to spray around the outside of the cabin. They did bring in the cleaning company after we checked in which alleviated some ants but they were still there. We will not be back.

Wonderful VacationGreat location to all the activities in the area. Plenty of room for the family. Having your own laundry and your own grill is key. Unit was very clean. The indoor/outdoor pool is clean. Great to use after activities in the area. Our family enjoyed zip lining at Wildcat, Seeing the incredible views on top of Mount Washington and Cathedral Ledge, Enjoying the nature walk of the Flume Gorge in Franconia Notch which is about an hour away along the Kancamagus Highway. Cranmore Mountain which is a 5 minute drive from the resort had the Alpine Coaster and many other outdoor activities. Of course we took a day (or two) to shop at Settlers Green Outlets, Zebs General store, Spruce Hurricane, and The Beggars Pouch. Having a fully equipped kitchen is key. We ate out a few nights at Tuckermans Tavern and Stonehurst Manor with breakfast at Peaches. Each restaurant catered to my dietary restrictions including GF. White Cupcakery is a must with GF donuts.

Private cottage! We are frequently disappointed when trying to use our timeshare but we were pleasantly surprised this trip! We skied for a the week near North Conway, and this condominium is centrally located near Attitash, Wildcat and Cranmore, among others. We were delighted to receive a private cottage with 2 bedrooms, each with a private bath, and a hall half bath. The unit had a full small kitchen, dining room, livingroom with fireplace, washer/dryer. No sharing walls with neighbors! The main building has a pool and gameroom which we did not use, so I can't comment about those amenities. Don't get me wrong - this unit is clearly dated, but it is functional and tidy, not fancy. There's older carpet throughout (including on the step to the whirlpool tubs!?!) but plenty of space for two couples or a family to enjoy. The TV's were neither sophisticated nor smart, with fair wi-fi, but it worked. The kitchen has a full refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker (drip), with a small basket of goods to get you started (dishwashing liquid, dishwasher detergent, plastic bags, clean towels/oven mitts). Would definitely return any time of year as a home base to enjoy this lovely area!

Not impressedI stayed here this past weekend and was thoroughly unimpressed with this visit. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude. It seemed as if she hated her job. Once we finally got to our room, it was not clean. We found pubes in one if the bathrooms and bugs (dead and alive) in several of the rooms. All evening the power kept going off and on. I was very let down and wish I would have just stayed someplace else.
