  This was a very nice B&B. The hospitality was great. Bruce and mum made us feel very welcome and served a good breakfast and had some good chats. Our room was clean and very cosy. Felt like coming for a visit to their home. They also have a very nice backyard. The location is great. Will stay there again for sure.

  We loved it here!!

  If youre looking for a relaxing and cozy spot to stay that is right by the historic district then this is the place! The location is great. But the best thing about our trip was our host Bruce! What a lovely person! Made us feel like family. And his pancakes are amazing! Will be back for sure!!!

  GREAT EXPERIENCE

  My wife and I first time in St. Augustine, booked a last minute at Castle Garden. For thanksgiving weekend. I called to personally make a reservation over the phone, had a delighted conversation with Bruce, and made the reservation with no problem. We arrived and were greeted by Bruce and he showed us the area, circling good eat spots and "to dos" with maps and information guides he has neatly set up for his guests. We stayed in the Peaches and Cream Bridal Room. It was clean and very comfortable. Exactly what we were looking for. Breakfast was good. We dined with other guest who were also very kind and made excellent breakfast conversation. Bruce made some exceptionally GREAT PANCAKES!! THEY WERE REALLY REALLY GOOD! Then at the end of our stay, Bruce walked us out and thanked us for our stay. He did everything to make sure our stay was a pleasant one. If your one of those people who like things to perfection, then i say you go and stay else where. If you like a real experience with genuine people, then this is where you stay.

  Spur of the moment trip, but we landed a winner!

  We decided on Thursday to travel on Saturday, and stayed 2 nights at Castle Garden. Quite honestly, by the time we booked it was one of only a few places in our price range with vacancies, but we got lucky!! Bruce turned out to be an excellent host, very laid back, helpful, and considerate. We stayed in the West Loft, a small but comfortable room upstairs. Bruce served us breakfast both mornings we were there and is an excellent cook. In addition to serving the food, he also stayed around to talk to us, asked how our night went, and offered suggestions for things to do or places to eat. We came away from there feeling like we had made a friend! Thanks Bruce, we'll definitely be back!!

  Excellent place to stay. Bruce is a kind and attentive host. I would recommend staying here. Very clean and welcoming environment. We rented 2 rooms for a weekend getaway with some friends. We will be returning.
