  Best part of Sicily!

  We made a reservation for one night for our 30th anniversary. After arriving and seeing our room and the surroundings we stayed an extra 2 nights. This is a beautiful property with stunning views of the sea, immaculate and spacious rooms, and the entire staff was lovely. Marcello was especially charming and friendly every afternoon - service at the pool was such a treat! We had a most romantic dinner on the terrace with exceptional service and an excellent wine list. Laura at breakfast each morning was friendly and welcoming. Thank you for the front desk staff who arranged a private boat trip for us - it was perfect. We loved this property and will definitely be back!

  Accurate and lovely boutique hotel

  The structure of a castle with a panoramic view and pool is the perfect place for vacation. The room was big enough as we spend all day at the pool area. The pool is new or at least a good maintenance. You dont feel the crowd also if the hotel is overbooked. The restaurant is delicious and worthy for a candle night dinner. The only thing we missed was a frequent service at the pool during the day as we love to stay there also during lunch time. But we asked for and could give our command to the server...!

  Beautifully furnished and comfortable

  Tastefully restored, modern rooms with all comfort. Nice and helpful staff. Beautiful view over the sea and bay. Nice pool but only a very difficult access to the sea, you have to crawl over rocks, which is a pity, because the water is pretty. The restaurant is great and dishes interesting and of good quality. On the other hand the breakfast lacks of freshly squeezed orange or other fruitjuces, despite the fact Sicily is one of the biggest orange growers.

  A magical stay in a magical island!

  Besides being located in what in my opinion, is the most beautiful part of Sicily, Castello Tafuri has it all. The unbeatable location, breathtaking views, comfortable rooms, great staff and the history behind it! The Castle was newly renovated after at least of a decade of being abandoned. Family owned, the "new generation" took it to heart to make it even more special that what it was in its 'golden era" and they achieved it! If you are travelling to Sicily this is a MUST stay. The beaches in the area are really amongst the best in the island, and it is only a very short drive (5 minutes) to Marzamemi which is now one of the "hottest" spots in Sicily.

  Great but probably not the best for family vacation

  Great hotel, Fantastic location and friendly staff. Magnificent pool just over the sea, parking few steps from the room and great view. Just realize later that it was not the best for noisy toddlers, and maybe a bit overpriced for the service offered but the price is all about the great location.
