  Wonderful stay in beautiful B & B

  We found this B and B at the last minute and it was a perfect place to stay. We arrived about 4:00 pm and the host Matteo immediately took care of us offering us a glass of wine while he was checking in another party. The residence and grounds are gorgeous and our room was lovely and comfortable. The food was delicious and we enjoyed relaxing by the pool. Typical Italian breakfast of meat, cheese, yogurt, eggs and breads. I would definitely recommend this B and B. Matteo was passionate and professional.

  Wonderful

  We spent 4 nights here which was wonderful. The Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice of fresh fruits, cereals, breads, meats & cheeses & eggs, with lots of different pastries and cakes. We ate Dinner 1 night which was very good. The room was large and clean with an excellent shower. The grounds are beautiful and it was a calm oasis to stay at. We really enjoyed everything about it.

  A hideout in a medival setting

  We stayed two nights before a wedding. A tower room gives you the most beautiful views all through the day. Not very far from the Fans station, the hotel serves amazing food and also a range of drinks. Matteo takes excellent care of your requirements and panders to you every wish. A great place to stay.

  Castello Montegiove, Fano, Marche, Italy.

  The hotel is in a marvellous position and my only regret was that it was dark when we arrived in November 2019. We enjoyed a good supper and an excellent breakfast. Our bedroom was magnifico, but I have two small niggles. First, there were not enough plugs and those available were tucked away and not easily accessible. Second, we only had big glass doors for windows (overlooking the courtyard) so not so good for those who like an open window at night. The staff were first-rate.

  Restaurant is superb

  We went for a two night break for a special occasion. We originally made a booking with Villa Rinalducci for a deluxe room. However were contacted to say it was quiet so our booking was moved to Castello Montegiove. It has a nice feel to the place and is close to town and beach , moreso if you have a car. However i did not get the feel of deluxe in our room. I had for the very first time in my life mentioned the special occasion in the booking. However no free treats were in store for us. The room was nice enough but small- really tight between wardrobe, bed and the room door. The mini bar was broken and the receptionist pointed that out to us immediately, so no cold drinks for us. The room had no tea or coffee making and no views either. Due to covid, understandibly there was no buffet breakfast and you had to say the night before what you wanted and what time you'd be down. We ate in the nice courtyard but it was a bit stark with no flowers or anything. However the highlightsts were the delicious meal in the restaurant and the two lovely male staff members (who worked the reception and restaurant) . The food and wine were exquisite. However we were not given a menu or price of our meal in advance which was strange. There were three menus of the day. We asked for one and the food just started coming. The price was not what was stated in the literature in the bedroom. However I couldn't complain as the food was so lovely, as was the service. This was a nice break but not the touch of luxury I hoped for.
