  Wonderful views

  We stayed two nights in the appartment nelle vigne ( appartment in the vineyard), part of the castello di spessa estate. The appartment was spacious clean and had a certain rustic charm. It was not cold either as some such places might be. It was comfortable and possessed the usual extras associated with a four star hotel as well as having an adequately equipped kitchen. There were only two drawbacks. One was the terrible noise from the trains in the night though only when the windows were open. Second was the distance from the hotel at which you take breakfast. This did not worry us as we had a car but could be a bit of a nuisance for visitors without a car. The breakfast at the castle is held in the old kitchen; a really charming room and is served on lovely china. Unfortunately the food itself is rather poor compared to the setting. Finally, and best of all, are the lovely views from all the windows in the appartment. Not only was it located on a hill top in the middle of vineyards but is between the fifth green and the eighth tee - interesting!

  A superb renovated castle style historic building with golf course and great views

  Top class accommodation in lovely large rooms all with stunning views over mountains, vineyards and golf course. Rooms beautifully decorated. The meals are absolutely delicious and of the highest quality. A great place to relax, eat and play 18 holes of golf.

  Excellent

  It was beautiful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable plus the food is delicious. I played golf and visited the castle which is incredibly beautiful! People are friendly and welcoming, I recommend 10/10!

  Perfect and 5 star treatment

  Perfect and 5 star treatment So many things to love about this hotel. The location is lovely The food is outstanding The staff goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is pleasant. Room service was such a treat . The building is beautiful. All in all just a great hotel ,the price is okay but it is really worth the money . Would recommend highly as a great treat.
