  A perfect place to stay in Rhodes

  We stayed here in September 2012. As previous reviews, we only have the best to say about this place. Rooms are perfect, clean, large, with pc and internet. Breakfast was always great. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay while in Rhodes, those apartments are at a 5* level. Faliraki, sadly is an area in decline. However, we will strongly recommend Castello to anyone going to Rhodes as the apartments are away from the streets and bars. If we decide to go to Rhodes again, with no doubt Castello is a first choice to stay in.

  Nice bourtique hotel in the quiet area of Faliraki

  If you are looking for a nice quiet location in Rhodes to spend you vacation in, Castello di Cavalieri Hotel is just the place to choose. We spent 14 days there and we were very impressed by the quality of the accommodation and services. The hotel has just 18 rooms, all of them spacious and comfortable. The rooms are sound-proof, so you are not going to wake up to your neighbor's snoring and he to yours :) Furthermore, the rooms on the ground floor are equipped with the outer blinds and insect nets, which is very convenient and save. Otherwise, the rooms are very large, clean and nicely furnished. There is a sofa and a well-equipped kitchenette (with coffee maker, fridge, plates) in addition to a very comfortable bed, flat screen TV and a PC - the coolest thing indeed! Wlan is free, but the signal was not very strong in our room. The service at the hotel is just great! Takis, the owner, is always there for his guests and he is doing a great job! Everyone from cleaning personnel to the lady at the bar were extremely friendly and welcoming. We were very satisfied with everything at Castello. Although both of us are more of sea-lovers than pool-potatoes, the pool area was so nice that we stayed there several days, and sometimes - we were almost the only ones there! The hotel does not serve dinner, but you will find a couple of great locations in the direct neighborhood, e.g. Taverna Bridges, afamily owned restaurant with great food and the nicest owners - just 5 min walk. The hotel's location is great too. If you look at it on Google maps it may seem like a long walk to Faliraki beach. But it is not. It is precisely 10 minutes to the beach. Please note that the beach of Faliraki is very full in the main season, so if you are looking for a more secluded place you can find lots of them, but you will need a car to get around and see more of the island, which is beautiful and has much more to offer than Faliraki noisy bar street. Takis can also arrange for a car rental for you, and it will be cheaper than the most providers we saw. As for the beaches - take a look at Afanthou/Afandou beach and, my favourite of all times, Gennadi beach (not sure about spelling though, it is 40 minutes drive to the South of the island from the hotel). All in all it was a great vacation and i can absolutely recommend Castello di Cavalieri.

  Nice and quiet

  Had a lovely spacy room with a nice balcony with view over hills, Faliraki and the sea. Excellent service all over - the room was kept spotless. Remember to draw the netting, otherwise bugs will come in. OK breakfast buffet. The hotel is situated a bit off center, which I found very nice - no party noise from the many bars. Down sides: Rooms are not sound insulated, so you can follow your neighbours activities closely. And wifi is extremely unstable.

  Castillo di Cavallieri, a place you don't want to leave from.

  A beautiful place to stay. Relaxing, very clean, excellent service and awesome suites! Mouthwatering breakfast with something new every day. Has a very good spa overlooking the pool. If you want to get married, there is a small beautiful chapel. I fell in love with Castillo di Cavallieri and I look forward to come back! Highly recommend this place for couple holidays!

  In a quiet location, yet just a short walk from the resort centre

  I have often visited Rhodes, but this was my first time at Castello di Cavalieri. Now I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else! Very spacious and spotlessly clean rooms around a central pool with snackbar. An excellent buffet breakfast including cooked items every day. A great place to relax. I very much look forward to my next visit.
