  OK standard but possibly the rudest staff ever

  Good location, clean and newly refurbished bathrooms but the room was OK, not for the picky guest. Train rails is literally outside the window so if you are a light sleeper dont choose this hotel as it will wake you up at 7 am. Staff was incredibly rude and the last night we stayed somewhere else just purely because of the fact that the staff was so horrible and intimitading.

  Rundown old guesthouse pretending to be a hotel.

  Grumpy and rood owner obsessed with keeping aging furniture. No headboards for beds. The smallest shower and bathroom I have ever seen with transparent door which allows to see clearly the person inside the bathroom. Air conditioner is not working well at the night difficult to sleep in the hot summer night. Trains are passing 10 meters away from the window. They are passing by 4 times per hour until 11pm and start at 6am. Streets outside of the hotel are dirty and remind a third country world.

  Within 300m to beach

  Clean hotel room and spacious and we were accommodated in the annexe part of the hotel which is next to the main hotel and which provided a free parking space---limited to 6 cars. Nice garden are to the back . Owner was nice and gave us towels to use down on the beach when he knew we were heading there. Our room was on street side which was quiet and had Wifi and A/C

  Excellent stay

  We had a wonderful stay at Castel Mistral. The service was excellent and the room was very fresh and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The beach was only a few minutes away. This lovely hotel had lovely owners who made the whole stay so wonderful. We had a delicous breakfast at the hotel terrace with fantastic homemade marmelade. This was the best stay we had at the Rivieran and we would love to come back!

  Unbelievable avoid it

  Unbelievable!!!! How rude can you be? Or not human??? We were coming from Spain 14h on the road and booked the hotel form the car. Good price good location....only surprise when we arrive at night the owner didn't let us in although it was already paid. He was looking through a small window saying " go wherever you want " and left 4 tired people literally on the street. Needles to say how exosted we were and not able to book anything we continued the trip... We double check the arrival time and it is true it was 20:00 but we had a lot of jams on the road and when we arrived the guy was there at the door!!!!! He didn't let 4 exhausted person in bed already paid and he didn't even try to contact us before. This kind of attitude puts a bad reputation on all Booking sistem...now I will always wonder who to trust..not to mention the hotel took the money for something it didn't deliver and we haven't cancel. I tnink a proper and decent thing to do would be returning our money as this amount is not small change for us. Hope they do the right thing.
