  Centrally located

  Stayed there when I dropped my daughter to college. It is 3 minutes from the station and across the street from the Funicular. Warm and friendly staff, service with a smile but they need to provide a small refrigerator in the rooms. Very centrally located and convenient in every way.

  Where did they get their 3 stars from?

  This hotel definitely does not deserve its 3 stars by European standards. It barely deserves one star! Even though it is clean, it seems that there has not been any investment since the sixties to upgrade or maintain the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are large, but very basic and old fashioned. The staff at reception is barely friendly. Not to speak of the breakfast buffet which has the bare minimum to offer : 2 sorts of cereals, a few pieces of ham and cheese, stale and tasteless croissants. I cannot believe that such hotels still exist in Europe. Even more shocking in Switzerland which has a reputation for high quality and standards. Definitely not a place to recommend.

  Recommend for a business trip

  The hotel is 10 mns from the train station by walk. The room was comfortable, although it was giving on a street so had to sleep with closed window. The reception was really nice. Good bar downstairs. I am taking away one star for the breakfast: for 17 EUR I expected a nice choice and there wad almost morning. The coffee was disgusting.

  This hotel offer a very basic services and lacks some essential elements that would make a guests feel more comfortable. Taking also into account the price which is a bit high I would have expected it to bit better than it was. However I realise that it is an old family owned hotel in a very small town in Switzerland so expectations should not be very high.

  Enjoyed one week at that great location Casino Hotel in Sierre

  I had room 55 on the top 5th floor. All amenities as expected of a 3Star Hotel were there. I had a twin bedded room, bed very comfortable, lots of wardrobe space and a full bath/shower. The Satelit tv Offered English-French-italian-German and of course Swiss stations. There was free WiFi. The view was spectacular overlooking the mountains. The breakfast was plenty incl fruit served in the restaurant and a cosy bar was off the reception area. All staff I had met were very helpful. The train Station is just around the corner 5 Minute walk What was very convenient for my travels to Leukerbad, Zermatt-Matterhorn, Chamonix-Montblank, Sion, and Saint Leonard for the mountain lake. I look forward to return in the summer month.
