  Relaxing stay, excellent service, lovely food, nice rooms

  The hotel is set in the countryside and covers quite a wide area with lots of space given over to the gardens and a large pool area. The secret garden breakfast area is quaint and is the best part of the day. There is a huge choice of items, fresh fruit from the garden, freshly squeezed juice, cereals, pastries and of course good coffee. The breakfast really is top notch. Our room was clean and comfortable and decent amount of space. It would have been nice to have a private outside area - some rooms do. In fact the rooms seem a little cramped together given the amount of land area the hotel has. In late May there was still a bit of a feel of them getting ready for the season, with lots of maintenance going on and some building work too around the playground area. There was a nice mix of other guests, lots of families from all nations and it wasn't too full. I get the feeling the place has quite a different atmosphere in high season as the fountains/music system and entertainment were not in force (which would not be what we wanted at all). The hotel is well located if you have a car - 15 mins to Syracruse and good for exploring the beaches and hill towns close by. You may feel a little isolated without a car as there is nothing much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The staff, especially Sara who always served with a smile, were very helpful and efficient and certainly made our stay. Overrall a lovely hotel and decent value too.

  Amazing resort!

  We stayed here for 4 nights in July and found the resort to be lovely and the pool amazing. The management are very welcoming and everything is very modern. We loved the little terrace outside our room where we had a drink in the evening. There is on-site restaurant/bar but it could do with a snack bar and some additional ice-cream/lollies for sale during the day. The resort is located relatively close to the beach (drive about 5 minutes) or you can borrow a bike from reception and cycle there. The only downside, is that the resort is located off the beaten track (very limited restaurants close by and only one or two small supermarkets/shops in the area - you have to drive to the town at Syracuse if you want a large supermarket). Unfortunately there is also lot of rubbish alone the side the roads (fly tipping on a big scale). This obviously isn't the hotels fault, so don't be put off as once your in the resort is is spotlessly clean. The breakfast was very good, with hot eggs and croissants, ham and cheese and local fruit also available. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We would love to return again.

  A gorgeous stay in September

  Everything we wanted in a calm oasis! Beautiful pool big enough to swim, delicious breakfast (possible to eat in the garden!), spacious rooms and SUPER helpful staff! Reception provided with great food and activity recommendations, gave us bikes and even ensured we had breakfast for an early check out! Great location for exploring that part of the island.

  Very friendly staff and amazing environment

  We had a really nice couple of days at hotel casale miloca. The garden is amazing and the pool area was just stunning. The downsides were the food, we payed 12 euro for a generic pasta pesto which didnt taste good at all, and the local beach which was kind of dirty and small. Never the less, you have amazing restaurants just 7km from the hotel and the same goes for beaches. Im satisfied with my stay.

  beautiful 5 days sojourn at Casale Milocca -Siracusa Sicily

  The location is very nice, clean in a Sicilian farm/seaside vacation context. The sea (beautiful south mediterranean blue crystal water) is few minutes walk away (free bikes available), very quite and silent under a wonderful sky. The context is simple, efficient and natural, green with vegetables fresh form the garden used in the kitchen, excellent simple food with hand made pasta, fresh fish, meat, excellent olive oil, good local wine, home made cakes and sweets, all very natural and healthy. The owner family is active in the daily resort activity kitchen included, all very kind and ready to respond to your needs. Very beautiful swimming pool , plenty of room outside. Very fine modern rooms functional and well equipped. Suited for families as well as couples and singles aiming to a nice vacation. Top restaurants and luxury services available in the surroundings for the sophisticated guys. Favorable quality/price ratio compared to nearby competition. Fotos available on the web.
