  Lovely pool area

  Weve just got back from a wonderful holiday in Malcesine. The hotel staff were very good and kept the hotel immaculately clean . The breakfast was good and had something for everyones tastes. It was a beautiful walk into the town once you crossed the very busy road and took steps down to the lakeside promenade . If I was to use this hotel again I would not want a room with a lake view as it was impossible to take advantage of the terrace due to the very busy road just a couple of feet away. The poolside rooms were definitely better. The gardens were lovely and the pool was wonderful with plenty if sun beds . On the whole a lovely hotel and worth every penny .

  What a super little hotel this is!!!

  We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Casa Popi. Just a 5-minute stroll from the town centre this is without doubt one of the most enjoyable hotel stays ever. The whole place is immaculate. The rooms, though a little small, are more than adequate with comfortable beds, lashings of hot water and plenty of water pressure in the shower. The pool area is beautifully set in a colourful garden and is amply supplied with the most comfortable sun beds I have ever come across. Drinks, tea, coffee and alcoholic, are available from a small bar in reception until 21.30 and are priced lower than in the town. A plentiful continental-style buffet breakfast is provided from 8 until 10. This consists of 4 types of home-made bread, cakes, meats, cheese, tomatoes, cereals, fruits and yoghurts, tea, coffee and fruit juice. Rosa and her family are so welcoming and helpful that a stay here feels more like visiting old family friends than a hotel stay.

  Basic but great value

  We stayed at casa popi for 3 days whilst in Malcesine. We chose the hotel because it was a fraction of the price of others in the area and therefore were not expecting much but we were pleasantly surprised. The location was great, just a short walk from town and it was lovely and clean with a comfy bed and good shower. Although we didn't use the pool it looked lovely and for the price, a wonderful added extra. We were on the ground floor and as other review say there was road noise but coming from London that didn't bother us too much, we were out most of the time enjoying the beautiful area anyway. The only negative is that the towels can only be described as crispy... Not at all comfortable, but that's a small downside to what is a great value hotel

  Lovely Break

  Came back on Sunday from this lovely hotel, really friendly, helpful staff, extremely clean and comfortable, lovely pool area, highly recommend. There was a good variety of breakfast and the Hotel is in a good location. We will definitely be returning and staying longer next time.

  You won't get better.

  My wife and I stayed in Casa Popi along with friends you had stayed several times before. They always sang high praise of the hotel but my expectations were surpassed as it truly is a lovely hotel. The location is perfect but the owners and staff were beyond expectations. We were made to feel at home as soon as we arrived until the moment we left. The owner Popi is an angel, although it's doesn't speak a word if English she had us in fits of laughter, she is a legend. A very big thank you too Rosa who made our stay so special. You will not get a better a better hotel on lake Garda for this price range. Outstanding!!!!!
