  Our favorite place to stay in Italy!!

  Great Staff and a beautiful location. The villa is surrounded by their own vineyard and olive orchard. The oil and wine are award winning. In one hour you can get to all the great places to see in Tuscany or just stay at the villa and relax by the pool. The apartments are great and we dined in a few times because we didn't want to leave. The restaurant next door, il Lampaggio, is great too. Inexpensive and delicious. Beautiful setting! I didn't want to write a review because I want to keep this gem to myself, but Michele and Francesca are the best and they deserve it. I've stayed here my last 2 times in Italy and plan on returning.

  Fabulous!

  We were lightly nervous as we had only managed to fine one recent reviews, but this place is a real gem! Set in beautifully manicured grounds these 2 converted farmhouses made for a perfect stay. We booked only 2 months before so we were unable to secure one of the 2/3 (out of 10) apartments with panoramic views, slightly disappointed that our terrace overlooked the back of the property, but there were still views to the side and it was a lovely sun trap first thing in the morning, before it got too hot. We booked a 2 bed apartment which turns out to be a studio and a 1 bed which interconnected, which was fine. Our terrace was shared with workers in the apartment next door, but they were never out on their terrace. The is a lovely pizzeria within a few minutes walk which makes it so easy if you don't feel like driving. Overall we had a great week here and if we returned it would have to be to one of the apartments with the best views. The only negative would be that there are nowhere near enough sun loungers by the pool and there is room for at least 10 more. It didn't help that a family of 4 reserved their sun loungers with towels in the morning and didn't show up for hours! One point to note when booking, check that you have views is this is what you want, one of the ground floor apartments in building has their view blocked by a large bush/tree - such a shame!

  Wonderful

  Casa Italia was wonderful! The views are spectacular, the people are so friendly and accommodating- thank you Malika, Michele and Liliana. In addition to great guest apartments, Casa Italia produces outstanding outstanding olive oil and wine!

  Peaceful and beautiful

  Casa Italia is a beautiful property nicely positioned within walking distance from the lovely Tuscan town of Porciano. The grounds and pool are so pretty. We stayed with 10 friends in numerous villa apartments. Each one beautiful ,clean and comfortable. Our 2 bedroom villa had a stunning view over the valley. Milika is a hardworking friendly hostess who welcomed us with a wide smile. Our dinner under the fairy lights on the lawn with all our friends is a memory never to be forgotten. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

  Our favorite place!

  We have enjoyed staying at Casa Italia for several years now. The location and grounds are beautiful, a truly peaceful escape from the craziness of Boston where we live. Scenery is breathtaking, the pool is always clean and refreshing. We enjoy having an apartment so that we can relax both inside and outside and prepare our own food if we don't feel like venturing out. Our apartment is always fully equipped and clean. However, there are wonderful restaurants and places to visit that are nearby. We always get excellent recommendations from Michele on where to dine and visit. From Casa Italia we have taken afternoon or day trips to Chianti, Vinci, Lucca, San Gimignano and this trip we fell in love with Monte Catini. We feel very spoiled here! We are both busy professionals and look forward to our true escape to the Tuscan hillside here
