  amazing stay

  We had a great stay at Cavaliere, the apartments are clean and very nice, recently renewed. Internet wi fi is fast . Quiet at night, the windows overlook the garden. Also the staff very kind. It is a perfect base for visiting cinque terre and the sorroundings. We'll come back with other friends.

  Fantastic place to stay

  Myself and two friends recently came back from La Spezia where we stayed in these apartments. They are stunning, immaculate and the people who run it are incredibly nice. There was information on things to do and bus timetables in the apartment for us when we arrived. I will definitely come back here someday!!! Highly recommended.

  Strongly recommended

  Our accomodation was a very nice apartment in an historical building, everything was perfect. we had Internet in the garden as well! The staff is really kind, excellent position perfect for visit cinque terre and the sorrounding area. We enjoyed very much our meals (fully equipped kitchen available) in the patio. What else? Everything we needed plus more, we ll be' back soon!!

  Very nice apartment, immaculately clean, ideal for visiting 5 Terre

  Very nice apartment, immaculately clean, ideally located for visiting 5 Terre. From outside, the building does not look like much, but the apartment we rented was immaculate. There is a fenced private car park 50 meters from the house. We were received by the sister of the owner, who was very nice and helpful. We could eat in the patio, just outside the fully equipped kitchen. A 20 minutes walk takes you to the main station, where you catch the train to Cinque Terre. Alternatively, there is a bus stop near the house taking you to the station and the center of the town. Most Italian people are very friendly with dogs and our Vizsla was welcome everywhere.

  Nice apartment but over priced ...

  The good: Nice English speaking host. Clean, quiet and nicely presented one bedroom apartment. Bus stop a 2 minute walk and a good supermarket is a 10 minute walk. A nice trattoria near by. The not so good: The apartment smelled of cigarettes during our stay ... likely a previous tenant. It is NOT within "easy" walking distance of the railway or La Spezia. It is a minimum 30 min uphill walk to get there. Definately a taxi (20!!!) or a local bus with any luggage. No English speaking cable channels, the TV is simply a computer monitor, no TV in bedroom ... not a priority but at the cost asked you expect more. Apartment is set up with household power options. As such, in Italy, this means you can't run multiple appliances ie can't run a toaster or electric jug together or anything at all with the A/C on, as it trips the main power. This apartment is over priced for what it offers. We will opt to stay in an apartment in La Spezia next visit for easy access to bars/restaurants etc and take advantage of all it offers.
