  We Want to Return Again and Again

  We were excited to escape real life for a bit and cozy up in one of these private cabins, which offer whatever you need for a relaxing getaway. The hardest choice we had to make on a crisp fall day was whether to linger over a delicious and filling breakfast and enjoy the fireplace, or get out and explore a variety of outdoor activities. Theresa and Rick couldn't be more accommodating, and they have created a true oasis inside and out. Cabins are clean, thoughtfully appointed, and comfortable. We enjoyed exploring AND hanging out, doing the latter with a glass of wine around the fire pit. Serious and casual hikers will find trails galore in the surrounding region, while less adventurous strollers can enjoy the expansive grounds right outside your door. We found the location to be quite central to the things we wanted to do, and discovered other options we hadn't known about. Our dog Pepper was glad to accompany us in one of the two available pet-friendly cabins. Our adventures tired her out enough that she let us sleep in an extra hour each morning -- an unexpected and entirely welcome treat, especially in that bed! Seeing as it's not practical for us to actually live at Carson Ridge Luxury Cabins, we'll have to settle for returning often.

  Best Place I Have Ever Stayed!

  I splurged for my partner's Christmas gift. I have stayed in higher priced places and lower price places, but the final bill was worth it for this experience that was unlike any other. First priority, SAFETY and CLEAN...both were A+. Second, we were not just a number, we were guests when we arrived but by the end, I can call Theresa and Richard friends. They are the owners, and they put hospitality the highest I have ever seen (without expecting anything in return). The gourmet breakfast delivered to the room (no added cost for that service like other hotels and resorts) was delicious and so nicely prepared. The romantic hydrotherapy bathtub for two in the Mt. Saint Helens cabin was just what the doctor ordered. The rainforest stone shower refreshing and the handmade king size bed kept us sleeping without distractions. The nature meadows outdoors quiet and the fact only ten cabins are available makes the safety of Covid one of the best places to stay for a getaway! Theresa and Richard recommended hiking at Panther Creek Falls and Snowshoeing at Old Mans Pass, both we did and fell in love with nature and each other all over again. The countless elk in our backyard, in the woods snowshoeing and on the roads, puts new meaning to #elkcountry. We ended the day with a couples massage in the cabin, romantic and relaxing to say the least. Very professional therapists too (Melissa and John). The wine tasting in the Gorge, candlelight dinners in the cabin and evening movies by the fireplace were the perfect activities and so happy I was able to give my partner and me. The drive home to Vancouver just made us want to turn around and go back for a week. We came tired and left refreshed, now planning our next visit in the summer!   What a great place to stay!!!

  First I have to say that breakfast was absolutely delicious! I wish I would have brought containers to take home the leftovers. Lol. The stay was great. The owners/management have given amazing attention to detail. We were super impressed by all the amenities. From the cheese board and knife, to the Q-tips in the bathroom. Such a nice place to stay, I would love to come back during spring or summer! Will be recommending this place to friends and family. I wish I knew what kind of sheets are on the bed? Those were so soft and comfy! Also, so glad we were able to get onsite massages. What a treat!

  Nothing less than 7 stars

  I wish I could rate more stars for this fantastic property. Richard & Theresa treated us like family. Richard (the owner) personally checked us in to our cabin (St. Helens) and helped us with our luggage. We had breakfast in our stay included and I will recommend everyone to get breakfast added. Theresa home cooks every breakfast and is a fabulous baker. The cabin itself has everything you need for a great stay. Due to covid, we did not get housekeeping however the staff was so attentive. They would leave us a basket of fresh towels and amenities everyday. We also got soda, snacks, hot chocolate and popcorn in our cabin which was a nice touch. Highly recommend staying here. We cannot wait to come back.

  The most amazing getaway ever!

  Carson Ridge Cabins is truly a magical place. The cabins are absolutely stunning and the perfect place for relaxation and rejuvenation. The breakfast served to our door was delicious, and very accomodating to our dietary needs! Theresa and Richard were so kind and hospitable, providing us with recommendations for where to eat and things to do in the snow. We will definitely be back!
