  Stopped for meal.

  We stopped for a meal on a Friday afternoon, no expectations. The meal was lovely but shocked at extra cost on bill. We wee not told in advance and it didnt say on the menu. Disappointing. Charged for jugs of water with meal. Food good

  Beautiful location but outdated

  Comfortable bed but room was very small with ensuite shower room which was also very small. Tea/coffee facilities in the room & a tv, dead on for one night. Good that it is dog friendly. The food was ok but the menu would need updated. The owner was saying that they had loads of plans to update the place so once this is all finished I'm sure it will be an amazing stay but at the minute it's just average. Beautiful location on the lough.

  Attention to detail would go a long way

  Stayed for a couple of nights with family. The room had rubbish from previous customer, tv remote wasnt working, light bulb missing, not enough toilet roll provided and not even replaced on second day house cleaning, hairs in the sink, no drinkable water in room. A 4 star hotel in Belfast would have been cheaper than here and standards would have been 10 times better. The restaurant experience could have been better. Recieved dirty cutlery, curry was bland so asked for salt and pepper and was given 2 empty and dirty mills, also stated to be served with naan and was served pita bread. Staff seemed disinterested coupled with what seemed to be thier friends arriving which they seemed more interested in than asking if we would like an extra drink or if wecwould like desert which took 20 mins after meal was finished. Paid a third more than a typical meal of this size anywhere else. Last day, breakfast cooked by the cleaner who set down the hoover to start, checked out by cleaner as no staff about at 10am, there was no "how was your stay" or thanks. Just bye. Good location but value for money not worth it. Really need updating and attention to detail by managment on processes and standards.

  Lovely location terrible hotel

  lovely view over the river restaurant/reception smelt of chip fat room size ok sort of clean bed not great none of the wall lights worked paper thin walls tatty decor shower poor held together with tie wrap nice breakfast staff lovely

  For food

  Called into the carrybridge for lunch, absolutely displeased and disappointed. Very shabby decor, but thought we would give them the benefit of the doubt that the food might make up for the premises. In these uncertain and serious times, none of the staff wore masks?? When carrying the drinks to our table the server carried the glasses and the jug close to his shirt. The toilets were filthy, bacteria breathing grounds. Definitely not a place to eat.
