  Miss a lot of amenities we Americans like

  Let we start by saying - this is not a bad hotel and its not a great hotel. I do a lot of travel around the world and I prefer to stay in US branded hotels for the amenities. I will list the pros and cons here: Pro - friendly staff (as long as you dont ask something out of the ordinary). -breakfast included and for most people it will be adequate. Doesnt change much day to day (we saw same for 7 days there) -fast laundry service (but expensive as usual in a hotel) - in room refrigerator (no freezer) Cons - Double bed is two twin beds push together that are short. Dont contain sheets just a duvet to cover Oneself. Dont know why they can invest in actual queen beds!! - WiFi - speed was fine but was only allowed one device per room. So my wife and I could not be on WiFi at the same time. Switching between devices caused a connection exceeded error and had to get exactly one more single use code. Upgrade already. Very complicated sign on procedure with user names and passwords (both generated). -no way to securely lock the door to prevent people from entering while in the room. - do not diatribe sign apparently doesnt work as I had an employee enter and leave something in my room while I was away. - A/C only in sleeping area - didnt cool down rest of the room (bathroom and living space) - only European plug (two prong). No US / UK / USB plugs available - only one English language TV program. 130 channels and only SkY News in English. - extremely limited parking on hotel grounds. Several times has to park down / across street in other spaces and get up early to move car - not Disability friendly for check-in / reception / breakfast area. - very limited dining options. Restaurant had a salad and a pasta dish as their only Vegan friendly options. Would not even work to make something off menu (which most places will). Overall - eh... okay but not great. I really wish there was an US branded hotel available.

  Lovely place to stay

  This hotel is so walkable to Celle Town; perfect place to stay. We had stayed for 2 nights and was perfect to walk into Celle Xmas market. We stayed in a Junior Suite, facing off the park. Views was ok, the stay in summer would perhaps be good. Room sizze was good and the reception room was a good size for chilling - the room was equipped with Nespresso coffee maker; would have liked to have a kettle to make tea though. Beds was comfy, bathrooms was a good size however the toliets were quite small. The breakfast was included in the stay and there was a good range of rolls, meat platters and fruit platters, which we enjoyed. Overall a good place to stay.

  Peaceful surrounding

  I liked this hotel as it is very clean and comfortable. It is located near to a river and in a residential area, so the surrounding is peaceful and quiet. The town is about 5 minutes walk away, so it is convenient too.

  Fine Hotel

  I stayed there for one night. Parking (free of charge) just outside. Rather centrally location in Celle. Good Wifi. Room was fine - but when I took the light curtains for the Windows to the side it was clearly first time in a long period as there was a lot of dust and spidermann constructions. Restaurant, spa and some hotel rooms are located in another building nearby. Cosy restaurant with good service and fair prices. Breakfast was fine - apart from the scramled egg ( sure they were made of an industrial pre- mix). But in total good value.

  Mostly good but sanitizer issue

  Stayed one night on a road trip to Germany. We visited the hotel two years ago and had a few reservations on our stay, but decided to give the hotel another go. The location is good with free parking for guests, and the old town is within walking distance. At check-in we were informed of the hotels covid 19 measured, which seemed to be fine and in compliance with health authorities' recommendations. Our room was of decent size, quiet and reasonably clean, and the a/c was quite nice on a sunny and hot day. Breakfast was included in our rate. On entering the breakfast room we noticed that the only container with hand sanitizer was empty. We asked a team member for some, and she explained that it was someone else job to refill the container, so no immediate action was taken. Fortunately, we brought our own small container, but we observed a number of other guests entering the breakfast room without using hand sanitizer, as it was not available. I find covid 19 measures important to the health of both guests and employees, which is the main reason for my "Average" rating. The breakfast itself was brought to our table and was very good.
