  Friendly and helpful

  Arrived on motorcycles soaking wet Lynda took away wet gear and we got it back next morning all dried out- room was comfortable and plenty of tea and coffee. Bed was really comfortable had a good nights sleep awoken by seagulls. Breakfast was hearty and well cooked - really good choice -

  Friendly and homely

  What a great find - lovely location, room, food and hostess (Linda). Linda made us feel at home - welcoming, giving us information about the area, introducing us to the other guests at breakfast, even keeping our Champagne cold and lending us 2 glasses so we could celebrate our wedding anniversary.   Welcoming B&B

  This lovely B&B is situated in Spittal, about a mile outside of Berwick-upon-Tweed. The house is deceptively large for a terraced house. We had the large double room at the back overlooking the garden with a large ensuite. The room had a sofa, tea making facilities plus the usual tv, hairdryer etc. Our host was very welcoming and very informative about what to do, where to go and where to eat. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, served in the conservatory by the garden. Our host likes to feed the birds and I never seen so many sparrows and starlings all trying to get onto the bird feeders! She also has lovely cats and dogs. Parking is right outside the front door. Spittal has a community feel, with a school, church, pubs and a few minutes walk from the beach. A very relaxing stay.

  what an incredibly lovely place this is! my room overlooked the garden and was really big. great bed, sofa and with loads if artistic features. bathroom had a great power shower and was decorated with quirky things as well. it is located very close to the beach. breakfast is served in the conservatory and loads of art to discover here as well. breakfast was delicious. Lynda is an artistic and very friendly person. she makes great jewellery out of beach finds. could not resist buying some! no negative points? yes, the fact that I have to wait until April to visit again.

  Fabulous breakfast - excellent host

  This is an extremely good value B&B. Lynda is so friendly and helpful, she helped us where to go for our evening meal and even where to park whilst out for the evening. Her local knowledge is immense. Sofa in room, all facilities as stated. Only slight issue for me was the overhead only shower head when I dont want to wash my hair but everything else was great and as we were travelling on to Edinburgh I simply showered when I got to our destination. Lovely pets if you want to meet them and you wouldnt know they were there if you dont. The cats are really pretty and cuddly and the dogs are very well behaved and dont make a sound!
