  Lovely two nights

  Just spent a lovely two nights at the Carlisle House B & B while dropping my daughter off at Dickinson College. We were greeted by Carolyn who showed us to our room. Yes it was on the third floor and there was no elevator... if stairs are a problem ask for one of the beautiful rooms on the first floor. Otherwise our room was very comfortable complete with a spa like shower. In the morning we met Tim, who served us a delicious breakfast of eggs Florentine and an almond torte or tart. It was fantastic and incredibly filling. I moved my daughter into her room and never felt the need for lunch. What I enjoyed most though was the conversations with our hosts and fellow guests at breakfast. It made leaving my only child in Carlisle just a bit easier. Thank you Carolyn and Tim for a superb visit and I look forward to returning many times over the next 4 years.

  Great accommodations and hosts!

  We had a wonderful stay here - unfortunately, we did not get in until midnight, but Tim waited up for us to help us plug in our car and show us our room, and then provided a delicious 6 AM breakfast - giving us lots of tips about the great hiking in the area. The room was beautifully decorated and had an amazing shower. We had a wonderful night's sleep and look forward to returning when we can stay longer at this beautiful historic house. We appreciated the EV charging facilities!

  Wonderful location and wonderful accommodation!

  Carlisle is such a sweet and charming town. Excellent history and every business was courteous. Tim and Carolyn were amazing hosts and we will be back! COIVD recommendations were well followed in the town and at the B&B.

  Beautiful B&B

  We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at the Carlisle House. The jacuzzi tub was huge and the water was plenty hot. We definitely had privacy, even on a busy holiday weekend. This B&B is within walking distance to the downtown area. The owners went above and beyond with our request for gluten-free dishes. The crustless quiche was outstanding as well as the blueberry muffins and banana bread - all GF!!

  Carlisle Bed & Breakfast Mom Staycation

  Food - awesome each day Ewing room - beautiful setup, dual-shower heads, mini fridge, clean setup, visitors book in each room so you can read previous visitors' experiences and learn about the location, historical education behind each room. Fragrances in the room are wonderful. Carolyn- wonderful to be around, patient with us, knowledgeable of the area and other businesses, Southern hospitality at it's finest. We shall return and make this a annual requirement!
