  Nice accomodation for some days.

  Carla's Cottage is a nice, clean, small, well air-conditioned accommodation for a reasonable price. Its located a bit away from the city center. Carla is a great host and offers taxi rides to the city, recommended restaurants or the airport. But the greatest experience was taking the bus and getting in contact with local people. I would like to recommend Carlas Cottage for a stay of some days.

  Cute, quiet, friendly, clean

  I sailed into Nassau and stayed on the boat at the yacht club for a few nights and then moved into Carla's Cottage for the remaining two before my departure from Nassau. And what a relief it was! I went from a dingy marina to a beautiful place with a large, super clean bathroom and a nice bed in a nicely decorated room at Carla's Cottage. Mind you, it is not near anything, you will have to take the bus or cab to go downtown or to other places - or Carla herself will drive you - but if you want to experience Nassau and its people and stay somewhere off the beaten path - this is definitely it. Bed was great, pillows were nice, A/C works great, room has fridge/freezer, kitchen is next door, you can bring food and warm it up/cook, there is a coffeemaker, toaster ... all you need. Carla is super helpful and the place gives off a really comfy vibe.

  A cozy, homestay experience

  Carla has a very nice, clean home, located in the middle of the island. We learned so much about the Bahamas, the Bahamians, and the island just by staying with her, and having her drive us about. The only drawback is that you do have to find transportation to get virtually anywhere on the island. The jitneys stop within a few minute walk of her house, but they can be hit-or-miss depending on which bus you catch. Carla is happy to drive you or pick you up anywhere on the island, and her prices are very reasonable. I definitely recommend her place if you want to meet some nice local people, and if you want to get to know the island from a resident's point of view.

  Great Place!

  Me and my wife had an awesome experience staying in Carlas place. Location is just a little bit off and the public transpo is a bit far but she is willing to drive you anywhere in the island and pick you up with a decent fare. The room is very clean, the bed and the pillows were greatl. Fridge, toaster, tv is in the room and great air conditioning. Whats best is Carla will make you feel at home, she is very nice and accomodating. Thank you Carla and God bless your business>>>RobnMyla
