  Could be much better

  My in laws leave close by so they booked the place. Even though the staff was helpful the house keeping and maintenance must improve. Dust bunnies on the floor and walls, water marks and peeling off paint on the walls, stained shower curtains etc. Cheap price if you are on a budget, but there is a reason.

  This hotel is much better than its pictures being advertised.

  This hotel is just the opposite to Ovolo Aberdeen Hotel where I stayed one night before changing to this one as I could not sleep as Ovolo is very noisy and smelly. This hotel should deserve better rating as its room is far more spacious and more quieter than those in Ovolo. I will come back here again next time in HK if their rates are reasonable.

  Quite, simple, clean and quaint

  This is my second stay at this hotel and I stay here when visiting Hong Kong as it is convenient to Aberdeen Where my family resides. (Like so many families in HK, their flat is too small to accommodate guests staying). The room we had in the Caritas was dated but clean. It had a kettle, flat screen tv, King Size bed, free wifi, a mini fridge, chair, writing desk etc but as I said earlier, a simple, no fuss, no nonsense Hotel that does not charge an arm and a leg as you would find elsewhere, even for the budget hotels. The reception staff are friendly and accommodating and the rooms made up daily. There is a cafeteria for breakfast and the food is adequate. The main thing about this hotel is that it is quite and convenient as well as a budget hotel. The old saying is definitely you get what you pay for and where hotels are a costing a premium price in Hong Kong, this hotel will not fleece you!

  You generally speaking always get what you pay for.

  Caritas is a Christian based charitable organisation and provides relatively cheap and basic accommodations in its hotel in Tin Wan. It has essentially become a hotel for groups of mainland Chinese tourists and the standards have dropped significantly since we last stayed here in 2017. The hotel is dirty, poorly maintained and noisy. The only redeeming factor is its budget rice compared to other local hotels. There really is no other benefit to staying in this hotel than the lower price. It is a real shame as this location is a great and convenient location to get around Hong Kong from. Unless this hotel invests money in upgrading the property as well as drastically improving upon its cleanliness, this hotel will condition for guests to stay in will simply worsen year on year.

  Very pleasant , clean and convenient hotel.-very reasonable priiced

  very conveniently situated on the bus route so easy to get around . Local area with small tucked away excellent restaurants to eat - dimsum experiences delicious and cheap.rooms are clean but average with air conditioning and a safe. Overall a very pleasant experience!
