Marlin Beach is fantastic!Just returned from a week staying in the Marlin Beach Hotel and can't understand what all the whinging is about. We stayed in self catering last year but found Marlin Beach was cheaper when we went to re-book, so jumped at the offer. Oooh, read the Trip Adviser results and thought we'd dropped a bit of a clanger. Big whinge seemed to be the spare bed arrangements - thin mouldy mattress! Eeeek. So packed the camping airbed, pump and fitted sheet - totally unnecessary. OK, the mattress was a bit thin but the spare bed is for a child and let's face it, they can sleep anywhere; two chairs pulled together at a wedding, airport lounge, car seat! The next prob seemed to be the food, breakfast was great (not much can go wrong with egg, bacon etc and continental), lunch was always superbly cooked and an adventure into Bulgarian cuisine - with the mandatory nuggets, fish fingers or sausages (with chips) for the young and unadventurous. We didn't really venture into the evening meal as the price of the deal was so good that we had already planned on eating out during the evening, however, when passing through the restaurant it looked pretty good. Wine and beer good too. Another positive was that the hotel was spotless, the rooms impressively big and the staff smiley and attentive. There was a whinge about the plastic loungers, we took a couple of lilos (£3 from Tesco) with us, so no probs there either. All in all, for the price we paid, I think we made a killing! Fabulous and looking forward to next year too!

Don't come hereFirst there are no parking spaces. I stayed at Marlin beach hotel witch is in the same building as Fiesta beach hotel so everything you see in the pictures is diveded by 2. So you can use half of the sun beds. The rooms are ok. I've stayed in 501 and it is a big room but the air conditioner dosen't make the room cold so you have to be prepared to be hot all the time. This is not such a big problem. The only meal that you can have is breakfast. The lunch and dinner are a joke. You bearly can find something eatable. My wife got sick and we had to call the ambulance. So if you want a hotel with a good location but just to spend the night you can stay at Marlin Beach, but if you want an ALL INCLUSIVE vacantion AVOID MARLIN BEACH HOTEL. 1. Unfreandly staff 2. No parkin spaces(when you have 200, 300 rooms 10 parking spaces from which 3 are blocked all the time is like you don't have any) 3. Bad food.( the fruits where rotten and the food uneatable). 4.no internet( even if you pay the internet bearly works. 5. No beeds at the swimming pool (If you want a sun bed you have to get up at 04 am. This is no joke and no exageration) 6. The drinks are very bad. I am talking about the soft drinks because i don't drink alcohool, but i hard the people that they are also bad. So... DON'T GO TO MARLIN BEACH HOTEL.

Absolutely diabolical will not be returningMarlin beach hotel Ok so lets start with the positive ummm the reception was clean Now the rest.. THE ROOMS, bathroom floods each time you shower, pull out bed is creaky and has a mattress youd see on tv in a prison cell, they are not all sea views, the one I had was a view of the majestic hotel.. this is what you could have type view POOL it is shared with the fiesta hotel but with an invisible line, there is a lifeguard with a metal stick physically hitting people who jump into the pool, he will smack their arm or leg with the stick KIDS included, then take them to a rusty sign which says no diving even though they are jumping into pool. Not only did I witness this but he actually hit my son! Your only allowed on a certain number of loungers which 90% are broken. TOILETS, these are situated inside the hotel so none near the pool area. No outside showers to wash of the sand from beach opposite so pool is full of sand. FOOD is rarely edible we had to eat out most of the time.

Do not go hereThe hotel is split into two hotels. The Marlin and the Fiesta. The Marlin is classed as a 4 star, Ha, it might make a 2 star on a good day. The good bits. Room was very comfy and quite large, towels changed every day, bedding twice a week. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Now the bad bits. DO NOT GO THERE. The restaurant is diabolical, food is not even mediocre. Cold soups sloppy food dumped in trays. Same menu every other day. No service in the restaurant. I went to get two glasses of wine for the ladies on an evening and had to leave the restaurant and go too the pool bar where I was able to get two glasses of red wine in SOFT plastic glasses. Hardly 4 star. I have had better meals and service in transport cafes when I was a truck driver. The restaurant (cafe) had no table service if your lucky you may have paper place settings advertising the hotel. We did complain to the rep. Mitko. He did attend for an evening meal and agreed that the service was not right. This changed nothing except that from then on we were watched closely by the staff. On the last day my wife decided to have an egg on toast for breakfast. A member of staff commented to her that this was the first time she had eaten breakfast in the resteraunt. The hotel is actually split into two. Be very carefull where you sit around the pool. If you stray into the Fiesta beach area you will get prodded by the pool guard with a stick and told to move. Outside the hotel the seafront is full of cafes and bars offering full English and shops full of tat that you can buy at home. The ancient town of Nesabar just 20 mins away sounded ideal. Gues what full of tat and English breakfast. Very disappointing hotel. Very disappointing holiday. Will not even consider going here again.

A maximum 3 stars hotel promoted as 4! Nice pictures promoting it, bad reality!I chose this hotel for a short break last week, it looked good in pictures and because it was only for 3 nights i did not checked it on tripadvisor. Bad decision! The reality in the field was the total opposite. In fact there are 2 hotels in one building - Marlin and Fiesta (left side in the pictures you can see the terrace of Marlin and on the right the Fiesta's one), you coud never guess it, off course, and it is not mentioned anywere! Fiesta wing you could have noticed immediately that it was other quality, it looked better, renowed, the staff was always smiling not the case for Marlin. So I had a bad feeling already from the reception because they gave us only one key for the room explaining that this was their policy (never experienced this, especially in 4, 5 stars hotels) and that printing a new card could block the system :). The room was big, but this was the only advantage. The sheets were very, very used, our room was at 8th floor and it was like a sauna inside and of course that the airconditioning was not working without an additional card and on the top, some bugs payed us a visit!! Plus, the pool area was divided between the 2 hotels - better acces for Fiesta, less for Marlin (left Fiesta, right Marlin), the food was poor and not good quality and the staff unfriendly. I wanted to change it immediately especially because near us there was Majestic Hotel, a real 4 star hotel, and it was only 50 euros more expensive than ours. All in all I would not recommend Marlin Beach Hotel! There are many other hotels around that meet the criteria. For me it will remain just a bad experience!
