  Ascension day holiday in Harzehöhe

  The check-in was not very informative. Our first room had a bad breathing air do to change of floor the day before. We got a new room at first request. The room was fine. No wifi at the room. Some of the food was okay, some was boring. Don't expect high quality food or an advanced all inclusive program. Their tap beer was fine though. Hahneklee town seems a bit boring.

  No! No! No!

  Probably the poorest hotel Ive ever stayed in. Part of a coach trip staying here. Room was warm. But not cleaned with a 4 night stay. Room was basic with beds very soft. No kettle. No safe. No wi fi in room. Food was very poor. Buffet style but only any English translation of the food on one night. Pudding was no choice in evening either jelly for one night, cold rice pudding another, cold sago pudding another and finally a type of mousse. You could have cheese and there were 2 types - but no biscuits just bread rolls that were also available for soup. Breakfast - oh dear! Fatty bacon. Scrambled egg that you had to have a slice of. Toaster was a basic domestic toaster that barely heated the bread. All hot food was barely warm whether breakfast or evening. Hotel was very isolated and as on a coach trip no access to anything independently. No entertainment so the evenings were long. Hotel needs modernisation and a face lift. A bit ok a lot of T L C. Disco one night which was a bit of fun and so welcome. My advice is if its a choice I would not stay here!

  AVOID like the plague

  The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Location very isolated.room warm beds comfortable but with tiny duvets, cleaned once in four days, no wi-fi. Hotel bar does not open until 8pm up till then an all inclusive drinks package was available which consisted of beer wine on tap instant coffee and herbal tea. The food was disgusting in every way, very little choice what their was was cold including the soup, dessert was rice pudding or rice pudding, cheese but no crackers and 6 grapes if you where lucky. Breakfast again instant coffee or herbal tea, very fatty bacon, sloppy scrambled egg both cold of course. Overall a cheap and nasty hotel in the middle of nowhere. Returned yesterday Saturday December 7th from a disappointing coach holiday. Juliette and Adrian langford

  SHEARINGS WHAT HAVE YOU DONE

  OMG this place needs knocking down thank god the nightmare ended friday morning could not wait to get to the mercure for decent food the only food with taste for the whole week , My room cleaned once in 4 days i feel i was robbed for what i had to pay that also included the single supplement i can honestly say this has been the worst hotel i have stayed in and i have travelled far and wide THE PLUS SIDE WE HAD TO AMAZING COACH DRIVERS

  Mini vacation 3 nights

  We bought a deal for about 140 Euro / person for three nights with all inclusive. Not much but the value was accordingly. The rooms are old, carpet dirty and the beds very soft. It all both lookes like and is many years old. The evening dinner was bad, no chef could ever be satisfied making this. The best description is that it reminded us of a dinner in a prison movie. Breakfast was the same. Dry bread, salami and boring scrambled eggs The beverage: beer was ok, Wine ?? I wonder if it was Wine at all? We can not recommend this. The Price is ok, but skip the dinner and make a wonderful breakfast instead
